Son sit down we need to talk about Bloodfavor
Yes that's right take a seat get cozy and listen up
Now it's been in the game for a while it is time to once again talk about bloodfavor
I think it's no secret that it might be the worst perk for killers right now... B..But monstrous shrine, well at least monstrous shine stays in the game for 30 seconds albeit terrible.
It's just too many conditions not enough reward. And it's a hex so most likely it gone on 30 seconds as I said.
Now blocking pallets can be useful but 16 seconds in a 16m radius is kinda meh. Then a cooldown on top yikes if it's gonna be a hex it should be at tier 3 32 seconds 32 meters
Its probably better of not being a hex too then that might justify the cooldown. But yeah hope you sort it out man.
I know dbd has a lot of stuff that needs sorting but hopefully one day it will be useful. If tachanka can actually be good and viable now (yes I just used that very dead meme) then so can monstrous sole, surrvivor and blood favour etc.

i can only partially agree with you when it comes to bloodfavor being transformed into a perk instead of a totem. the reason why i say this, is because removing the ability to drop pallets for a survivor or two during chase is one of the strongest things you can do in the game. it makes survivors completely defenseless against certain powers or playstyles, especially if they manage to get bad tiles or are unsure how to loop someone.
now, with that being said; it makes sense that the perk is a totem and that it would be something that could be removed during the match due to how strong it is inside of chases if used correctly. having it consistently on as a perk, but on cooldown, would put way too much pressure on chases, especially since the average chase time is usually somewhere between 15 seconds to a minute. that cooldown would be detrimental on the survivor because of how quickly it'd be able to recover in and outside of chase (unless if i interpreted your statement wrong, then disregard this line! x'D)

Blood favor literally counters itself. Block pallets close to you, survivor gets speed boost and runs to pallets far from you... and you need to use a basic attack to trigger it... and it's a hex...ant it has a cooldown. It's bad.
It could be decent imo if two things happen:
-Stop it being a hex, make it a normal perk with a reasonable cooldown. A cooldown like I'm All Ears would be decent on it. It is definitely not strong enough to deserve a 60 or 80s cooldown if its a normal perk.
-Remove the basic hit requirement. That way it starts to synergize with killers a lot more and it's a direct counter to pallet saves and the soon to be added, newest "undo the fact you made a mistake by pressing a button" combo: Power Struggle, FlipFlop and UB.

Here’s how I would buff Hex:Blood flavor
When a survivor is hit, Pallets within 32 meters of your location are held in place by the entity for 20/25/30 seconds.
The auras of blocked pallets are revealed to you for the duration. This effect persists as long as the Totem is standing.
I removed the basic attack requirement, I removed the cooldown and I made it so you can see the auras of blocked pallets. And increased the range and duration of the pallets being blocked.

This build was pretty disgusting when I tried it. Bloodfavor is incredible on Midwich, and with Clown resulted in plenty of 2 taps as people got trapped at a pallet by by the gas then blood favor blocked it. Or the pallet got blocked and then they didn't make it to the next one because of the ether + bleach bottles.
I originally had STBFL but found that people ended up hiding alot because the chase was so strong, and switched it for surveillance.
The main problem is downing an injured person and it going on cooldown.
It only gets stronger as there are less and less pallets left.

Most perks for killer are trash. Most perks for survivor are trash.
The game is balanced around the few good perks. Easier for the devs.
