Is it possible we'll ever get genderbender killer skins?
I'd love to see some of the killers as the other sex where applicable, like a male Nurse would be really cool to see, or Hag, or Huntress.
Imagine female Trapper? Endless possibilities.

Meh, in my opinion while it could be cool with some killers, it wouldn't work with others. I see some of the killers as entities more than regular humans or creatures.
If u do it with killers like huntress, nurse, trapper, it would work.
How do u do it with Myers or Blight, what about Wraith or Hag? Are u just going to add or remove the breast depending of the sex? don't think so.
So yeah, i would love to see it, but someone needs to think it through to make it look cool.

Yes, an indie studio so small and poverty stricken they cannot even afford to write an apology paragraph stating that they cannot afford to follow up on their promise just yet but that they absolutely will when time and resources permit.

No, because BHVR would actually have to give the legendary skins new voices, and that's probably not going to happen.
I mean, unless they're actually going to follow through on giving Lisa Garland a different lobby name and voice acting but just haven't gotten around to that yet.

It can probably happen, we already have identity-bending outfits.
Not sure if they're interested in just making them the other gender though.
If they do, it will probably come with a whole re-design as well, instead of only re-designing the character to look like the other gender.

it would be a very interesting and inclusive idea.
The only problem is that killers (and survivors) do have a lore, meaning that the only way to change the gender with a skin would be to add the gender transition in-lore, which is a very sensitive subject.
They tackled the possible gender swap with the Legion, but while it was a great idea, most "serial killers" work alone, and that's why it will be difficult to replicate.

Eh... I don't know, maybe I guess. This just feels like an odd topic to talk about for me (No offense), I guess it could work like I imagined PH being a female as a skin to represent Cheryll, and what the combination of the two characters would look like. Since as far as I know, that Pyramid head has different forms and are meant to look different depending on the person. But I would like to see what the combination of the two would look like, maybe not for the other killers though

I mean they're really close but isn't there a difference between Nurses and Doctors regardless of sex? Also I might quite like to fancy using her powers in a male skin sometimes. I still prefer Nurse as she is but I'll always welcome new skins for her
Well I did say where applicable. Obviously it would be impossible or completely crazy to try and do one for Demogorgon. But it would be cool for those that can. We already have Old Lady Bubba.

Yes I agree it can verge on insensitive but it's not malicious in anyway, I just want expanded options for skins and it would be more relatable to change the killer a little bit to fit yourself more, not for everyone but enough to make profit.

That's understandable. They could do it like Paladins did and make that specific skin have it's own unrelated or semi-related lore and be a designed piece that is more than just them in a different sex.
Not really though. They could always just use the "it's another version of the character from a different universe" route, or just make the skins own set aside lore. There's ways to do it without actually making every character transsexual.

what you are saying is to create a second character, what I was implying instead is to have trans characters - which is a sensitive subject.
@coppersly, I like the alternate universe idea, but I still think it would need a moderate rework in how the characters lore is exposed. That's just my opinion anyway.

I get this point of view, I do. But that's not what this is about. I want them to be able to explore skins that otherwise wouldn't work on the killer in their original form. Having a different sex opens up more options for cool skins, especially with the legendary skin idea. Yeah you can wear whatever clothes on whatever gender you want but it's a game and the skins are a little more rigid than our understanding of gender and sexuality.
Legion is already done, only 21 more to go!
