Weak.
My Spotify list doesn't need Spine Chill to be effective.

I don't recommend playing music over this game. Sound is essential. But I do agree that Spine Chill is a good perk, and everybody should probably run it.

You need Spine Chill to be able to listen to music? I do it on the regular mostly when I'm bored.
1 -
Yes, it is too strong and removes all the horror in this game.

I don't think that's the case. Just because you know the Killer is looking at you doesn't mean you know where that Killer is.

I got grabbed off a gen despite spine chill from a non stealth killer the other day haha.
They went around and I was on a gen the only thing behind me was that brick corner wall so I never thought in a million years a killer would come from there, I assumed he was behind stuff in front of me or something- but nope he was hugging the wall super tight and just came from the corner lol.

That's what I mean. Spine Chill is good to get a general grasp on where the Killer is do to the radius but you also need to be aware of how long the perk stays lit.

I played against one of the top ranked Ghostface's in the world several times. The guy plays around spinechill, he moonwalks right up to you and 360 grabs you like he has bloody echo location.
I ALWAYS use spienchill, it's strong and it's amazingly useful, but yeah I dunno if I would give up sound for it.

Oh I know if I listen to music I make sure its set almost near mute when I play.

who plays killer while listening to non game ######### 🤔

No, but with good gamesense you are unmindgameable outside of looking away while approaching a gen. But in a loop, you are 100% unmindgameable. It's the best counter to Spirit, helps give Myers a really hard time, completely counters stealth killers, gives you info on specific perks they might be running (Discordance, Surveillance, Nurse's, etc.), AND it allows you to know when a Killer is actually coming for you/has stopped chasing you. Spine Chill is so ######### good it's hard to see why people prefer things like Dead Hard or Kindred. The only Survivor perk that gives even a fraction of the info Spine Chill gives is Bond, but it's not even close.
Also, gamesense. Gamesense is key to using Spine Chill. You can pretty easily tell where the Killer will come from by just Spine Chill.

Uh I will agree that its good but once Killers know you have it it almost becomes a determent. I had a couple of games as Ghost Face where I used it against a survivor just to get them off a Gen they were about to complete.
Against Spine Chill on loops I would say it is mindgameable because most survivors will shift their attention towards their perks when it lights up giving you a small window to get your shot.

Same, my favorite perk :3

You can still mind game, I have to do it as killer all the time and I pull it off and I am terrible at the game; so if I can do it most other players should be able to as well.

And thanks to Freddy, so can I!
And also Ghostface, but I lose when I do it as Ghostface :(

It is so nice ^^

I had a Spine Chill gamer looping me at an LT wall tonight.
They didn't account for the fact I was Wraith with All-Seeing Blood and Coxcombed Clapper, and could lunge around corners like a freakin' ninja.
Edit: Spelling.

Remember when in 2016 Spine Chill and Premonition were meta?

You can listen to music while waiting for a lobby and waiting for the game to load ;)

I only use Spine Chill if I'm running a vault build...otherwise for me it's a wasted perk slot because it does what my eyes can do. It was a perk I relied on when I first started the game, that and Premonition were very popular back in 2016...but I don't really like relying on a perk. And most good stealth killers now play around Spine Chill so I'd be wary of relying on it due to that aspect.

Spidey Sense is a very good perk and is a must have for stealth players that suck at killer interactions, like me

Premonition meta? Never.

thanks spine chill for being the main perk in anyone's stealthy build :D

My classical doesn't need no perk to vibe hard.
But I run it anyway.
