Do the devs really understand how much their game needs fixing?
It doesn't really seem like they understand at all. Matchmaking has been a huge disaster and they haven't even bothered switching it back until they've come up with a better system? Hitbox issues are impossible to avoid in any game and they've literally done nothing at all to fix them other than their new hitbox system which I haven't heard anything about in I don't even know how long. After those 2 and the other numerous problems, they do an "experiment" and deactivate bloodlust.
They go out of their way to deactivate bloodlust to gather some bogus data but don't even bother to try and reactivate the old mmr which worked tremendously better than the current one or try to do another test with the new hitbox system?
I mean surely they've changed or improved something in the last several months since the last test? Or maybe they don't have anything they would like to share and they're just taking their sweet time thinking that it's a minor issue, when in reality it affects literally every game, and depending on the killers connection, every hit!

I hope you realize that the old matchmaking system IS in effect.
It's just god-awful.
Which is why they're working on the MMR system.

Whichever system they had on when you didn't get rainbow ranks every other game is the one that I was referring to

Test mmr was devastating for new players. Sistem was count veteran players like they have 0 mmr and put them to low ranks like Anakin vs younglinks. I suspect their mistake was that they make everyone have 0 mmr at start. But actualy it has to be at least 50 out of 100 and give it time to calibrate naturally. Or maybe convert rank (or devotion) to some amount of mmr. That would probably calibrate mmr faster.

So you mean MMR, where Rank 1 Killers wer getting constantly paired with rank 20 Survivors and vice-versa, because for some reason the system decided that doing so was acceptable.

its dbd. Dead Before Delivery. If I play during the week, usually see appropriate ranks. If I play after 10pm, rainbow it is. Even then, the rank 16s I play understand to do gens while I get rank 1s that run around and break hooks, escape on your first hook, sandbag you at a pallet, etc.
Just what it is

I think they just have different priorities. Hitboxes aren't marketable or a selling point for a new player. I'm sure most vets are sick to death of being hit from Narnia by 300 ping console Jimmy on attic wifi, but it's just not a marketable priority for the devs. Cynical, but it's their pattern. It's not directly making them money, so it's going to be 2-3 years.

Though I agree with some of your points, I'm sure the Devs know about these things already. Just because you haven't heard anything about them making an attempt to fix it doesn't mean they don't have it in mind, or aren't working on it right now behind the curtains. Instead of complaining about all the negative things in dbd, try looking at the positive ones.
