Wait times used to fluctuate.
Wait times used to change and be bad for a couple weeks for either killer or surv but then flip flop. Now it seems killer is almost instant and surv wait times are at least 5 mins. And it's stayed this way for a long long time now at least for me in central Florida.
Anyone else notice this?

I'm going on minute 3 on a solo queue.
I wonder why no one wants to play killer...
I wonder why.

its because they haven't realized how fun blight is

Because playing killer is a pain right now why play killer and sweat your ass when you can play survivor and watch netflix at the same time

Opposite for me. So that means it must be per region.
Like I said instant killer and 5 mins for surv here in Florida. So yalls theory about no one wanting to play killer cant be right.

Sorry, I think wires got crossed here or something. So you're saying that when you load up to play killer, it takes five minutes for survivors to enter your lobby? And when you play survivor it instantly finds a killer?

Yeah my killer ques are instantaneous and my survivor ques are about 3 to 4 minutes. It makes sense I guess, killer has 4 people that are ready to start when they are while the survivors have to wait for that one killer to be ready

No When I que as killer I get a game within 30 secs max

Then that means what people were saying: no one wants to play killer. The longer the wait time, the more people are queuing up for that role. If killer is instant, that means there aren't enough killers for the number of survivors playing.

Oh I gotcha. Makes sense. Well here i am! Haha

That is not quite right. The issue is because there is no consolidation of survivor lobbies. It is not uncommon to see four, five different lobbies with 3 or less survivors, when playing killer with crossplay turned off and at slow US hours.
If I chose to leave lobby as killer, and re-ready, I will often circulate between these choices, until one of the survivor leaves from the present one, (or another match ends, and a new solo survivor gets added to one of them). I have actually been stuck for several minutes as killer inside a lobby because of there not being enough survivors to start the match. Lobby consolidation should be automatic.

no one plays killer because they've all accepted dwight into their hearts

This. Thank you.
Amazing you have to explain this to someone.

Well, OP isn't the first person to get the queue thing mixed up. It happens, no harm done. It's also kinda crazy to think that in a game where you need 4x as many survivors as killers, survivors are the ones with the overflowing queues.

Make a sandwich with one hand tied behind my back wearing flip flops in the kitchen and still play survivor

Doubly so for Killer.

Well that's the thing, one sides has constant action/stress (depending on mindset) vs the other side with their 3 potential diversions.
