Spring trap as a killer
Hi DBD team! I really think you should look into this it is a new killer called springtrap from five nights at Freddy's and he has a map from five nights at Freddy's 3 and his backstory is that five kids mysteriously died by these animatronics and went missing but what people didn't knew is that the kids that died were stuffed in suits springtrap being (purple guy) put himself in spring trap for protection not realising it would take a life of its own and it trapped him in therefore killing him in the process but springtrap still lives on continuing the work that Freddy and the others set out to do... its so cool! They already know of FNAF, We will see if they can make a deal with Scott, the licence is very popular and I think the two games could fit easily.

a lot of people don't want him and only what like 25% of the people want him and that's not enough because if we want springtrap then the whole community will be doing it but i don't see that happening anytime soon.

Do you have any statistics you can throw at my way about your 25% claim? Some pyramid or pie chart analyzes perhaps? For all I have been here on the forum, the most I see is Five Nights At Freddy's suggests thrown at BHVR. That and Chucky from child's play. Heck, now that they made the Twins with the tiny infant character, Chucky doesn't sound too far fetched of a killer anymore.
Anyway, my point is, I don't believe that it's only 25% of the community who wishes to see FNAF. It is quite a big IP today, everyone knows it and it is very popular among big YouTubers and Streamers. It also fits in DBD concept perfectly. I would not mind seeing it despite not being a huge fan of the game, after all, I myself have suggested it in the past, so my apologizes if I come out as bias.

25% is just an estimate, when people see a fnaf post on the forums they immediately know its gonna be about Springtrap. And the majority of comments about the topic is mostly negative. While I myself don't really care too much about the franchise I wouldn't mind him being added to the game.

a lot of people want a lot of things not just fnaf springtrap. They want chucky, alien jason, predator a spider killer and all the other killers you can name of

Springtrap would be a great fit thematically, its just the lore behind it would make it extremely hard to write spoiler free backstory for him.;

It would be okay to say that William Afton is a child murderer that lures them to their dermises using the Spring Bonnie suit, then later he entered one of the fazbear places to destroy the animatronics, got into the Spring Bonnie suit after seeing ghosts of the children he killed, then died in the suit after the spring locks failed to become Springtrap, then the Entity abducts him after his transformation, confused to what happened and why he's alive and stuck in the suit, then proceed to hunt down survivors in the realm.
we all know that Purple Guy and Springtrap is William Afton, the only spoilers we'll get is in Fnaf 3
