Why some of us want Springtrap in dead by daylight

Nope. I take other threads back. That was the dumbest thing I read today.

As far as I know it's a very powerful killer in the lore of Stranger things. However appearently this one isn't strong enough to beat a killer meant for weebs

I mean Fnaf is scary for me it just might not be for others. For one I hate the silence that the game brings, it makes me feel very alone. But I hope that Fnaf goes back to its roots in what made it scary, and try to up the ante by maybe adding gore into the game, I just want them to be terrifying again

now i want to see a fight with all the killers they fight each other

You are in a very vocal, very small minority. No, FNAF does not fit. Just from a decency standpoint you really shouldn't mix TEEN content with MATURE content.
4 -
how much you wanna bet Oni comes out on top?
0 -
Well stranger things is teen content

oni vs Pyramid Head

Unfortunately I also don't want springtrap on the game for 3 main reasons:
1st it could ######### up the lord of both games.
2nd the main thing that I love about fnaf is the minigames, which cannot be added to dbd due to its competitiveness.
3d I'm still have nightmares from fnaf pls don't hurt me ;-;

Thats what I was thinking like isn't Stranger Things teen content

Someone made a sires for that on YouTube like doctor vs clown

Ohf, jeez.
Alright, look. You want your character in the game. That's cool, fine, whatever. You have to realize a huge portion of the DbD fanbase are Slasher. Like... The old 70's and 80's slashers. There are only a few outliers to this - Demogorgon, Pig, and Pyramid Head - but even two of three of those are from the early 2000's. Springtrap, and FNaF in general, is new and has a younger demographic most of the time. Pig is from Saw, which is a beloved horror franchise. Pyramid Head is from what a lot of people consider the best horror game of all time, so it makes sense for him to be the first videogame Character. And Stranger Things is huge - far bigger then FnAF, as big as FNaF is. Stranger Things rocketed the 80's, synthwave aesthetic back into the limelight. The new IT movies were obviously inspired by Stranger Things. The most I've ever seen of FNaF are a few plushies.
It also doesn't help this is like the 17th post I've seen about this since joining in October. Fnaf is big, sure, but unless Scott Cawthon, or whoever owns the FNaF IP offers I don't see it happening. The community has been overloaded with posts about this, and the more posts they get the more negative their opinion is going to be.

I expected more from the OP from that title.
Sad really.
Don't let this get to you. These people don't know what they are talking about. lol I argued with someone half a year ago on here who argued that Springtrap was bigger, and more well known, than Michael Myers.
2 -
You talking to me or the. Probably them

Silver is the only known man-made weapon that can kill an Oni.

Pyramid Head is immortal

First part is directed at your first post. It didn;t really explain anything.
Second part was in response to @Elena

I agree with most of this, but I would want to see something modern, something that is from this generation. I didn't grow up in 70's, 80's, or even 90's. I grew upp on games like Fnaf, Outlast, Amnesia, Bendy, and so on. I didn't even know who Michael Myers was until I saw this game, or even the Pig, or even Pyyramid Head for that matter. I just want to see something I've known, not something that everybody else has seen or watched that I have no feelings for. I just want to have a chapter that has me screaming happily in the addition to a franchise/killer that I know that I've seen, and that I have feelings for

And I'm of the opinion that content shouldn't have made it into the game because of the slippery slope it creates. Thanks to ST you now have kids asking for FNAF, Slenderman etc.

Oh yeah forgot about that, but PH could also chop Oni in half because Oni isn't actually a demon, he dresses as one.
0 -
bendy as the new killer
0 -
that might be good
0 -
personally I thought Demo's power was what Bendy could've had, but now, IDK what his power would be
0 -
ya i dont want to make a power
0 -
Oh I've made a power once for a killer, it didn't end well

That's completely fair. I, myself, didn't grow up with any of the old killers either - at least not in the way others did. I always knew who they were, but I didn't watch them pretty late into my life. Technically I also kinda grew up with FnAf, I was 14 when it came out or somewhere around that age, but I don't feel a huge connection to it. I think a big issue is there just hasn't been a lot of big horror media lately, at least not as big as those old Slashers.
I did slightly grow up with Silent Hill, but that's just because I always found it interesting. I will fully admit that, if we're going by the other killers lore, it's perfectly reasonable for Springtrap to just appear in the Entity's realm. The Entity takes bad, murderous people and Springtrap is just that.
But I still don't think he'd fit into the game. Idk, there's just a line between 'monster that wears a huge hunk of metal on it's head and symbolizes guilt' and "corpse who wears an animatronic bunny outfit'.

people are gonna hate

Well thing is he's mad man trying to find a way to become immortal he does through machinery. He wanted figure out a way to live forever, he began removing crucuial bodyparts and replacing it with metal body parts that has some spiritual connection. He killed and experimented upon his victims to see how spirits work, how they affect objects around them, and do they benefit him, that's what he's been trying to do.

hmm

I grew up in a christian household so Fnaf, and Outlast were truly the only horror games I knew during the time

Any questions?

Gonna be honest chief, compared to Outlast FNaF is like Spongebob. Outlast had some ######### up stuff.
2 -
Oh yeah, Outlast. You can't really top Outlast, that set the bar for what horror should be, yeah I'm suprised they got away with the ######### they pulled off. Now I wonder why we haven't had Outlast already?
2 -
Games and movies are rated differently and this is not a fair comparison

My 6yr thinks Springtrap is cool.
In all seriousness I just don't see any of the FNAF characters working in this game.
2 -
Did you just say that a FnaF dlc would get more purchases than the Stranger Things chapter?
Man I thought I have seen it all
While ST is currently having a season 4 made, all FNAF is getting is the actual definition of “copy and paste but make sure you change 1 thing about it”.
The Lore of FNAF is so confusing that to this very day I am still trying to find out which fnaf game canonically was the first game
DBD has confusing lore as it is, but adding FNAF to it would just make DBD and FNAF’s lore even more confusing cause now you have possessed animatronics that has been claimed by a god that literally just scream at you annoyingly
1 -
You have 1 post, please don't tell me what's fair when I can't trust you.

FNaF is cool, I hope they do it.

Afton in lore is kinda no different then freddy. Murdered children and stuffed them into suits then when their spirits returned for revenge the springlocks in the suit around him extended basically destroying his body from the inside out. Then came back as springtrap to murder even more people. Doubt itd sell better than the other dlc we have though especially stranger things.
0 -
Springtrap wouldn't fit in this game the way other killers do.
