Honestly, is there a single person who is happy with that?

Like if you wanted to run the set, just buy all 3 parts and run them together.....

I just dont understand, its not like its visually needed, this feels exactly like that transparent bullcrap that happened with the Leatherface skin, when it was released it was a locked set and then "suddenly" a big whoopsedaisy, you can actually get individual parts.....

I get it for the Elodie onesy, its literally meant to be one piece, its even in the name, there are no real seams, it has to be one part, FINE that is FINE.

But Charlottes one is bullcrap, same for Leatherface (pre-fix), Pyramidhead and many others.

Stop this nonsense!

Heck im sure you noticed, somewhat related, that a lot of purchases of auric cell skins were done on the discount SIMPLY BECAUSE, FOR ONCE, we could actually buy PARTS on discount instead of the entire damn SET.

I actually wanted to buy one of the few parts of Cheryl's outfits, the purple student one but I ended up buying the whole outfit set because parts of that outfit just isn't sold separately. I wanted to dress her up by mixing up customization with the clothes, this should be an easy fix. I wonder why this is the case? Must be texture glitches or something of that sort.

Well people claim its because "moar money" that way, because a set is more expensive then just buying a part of it, but that is why I added the last part of my post, its nonsense because I wont ever buy a set, sets are boring, like running the 3 perks that came with a survivor/killer on that survivor/killer, boring presetup lack of individualism crap!

I would spend money if this crap was not locked down like this but...guess they dont want it.

If you are forced to buy the set then they can squeeze more money from you. If everyone bought only the piece(s) they actually wanted then the amount of money spent would be less.

In this case though it might be changed again, like for Leatherface.

    1) Release new locked set

    2) Some players buy it because it's new and shiny, some of which only want one piece but they have to buy the entire thing because it's locked. "Well I only want the chest piece, but I can't buy only that, so I guess I will buy the whole set even if that means I have to spend more money"

    3) Other players don't buy it because it's a locked set

    4) Wait a bit, then "unlock" the set

    5) Now players who previously did not buy it will also buy the set or at least pieces of it, and you can deny refunds to everyone who bought the entire set when it was locked because of the EULA

    6) ???

    7) PROFIT

I guess so, black friday is still in effect but the prices aren't really that reduced for some outfit pieces. I mean money is money, even for just a simple cost of 180 Auric Cells for an outfit piece would suffice, don't need to keep buying sets. I want to be able to have some Auric Cells left to buy even more content for both killers and survivors. Makes the spending more worthwhile which gives more benefit to the consumers, when it comes to people collecting what they want of course.

Actually Cheryl's purple outfit makes sense that it's linked, it's supposed to represent a whole other character without technically being a different person. I'd explain all the details but it's pretty complicated, I'd definitely recommend looking into the game's lore, it's pretty interesting. I do not however agree that Cheryl's green outfits should be linked, there is no reason why we shouldn't be able to mix and match with them.

I understand this, I only played a tad bit of silent hill. Don't think I ever beaten a whole silent hill game though, however this IS indeed dead by daylight, I just felt like wanting to mix n match for more uniqueness to the character. Cosmetics aside, the way you play the game is what matters in the end, it's just something of a bonus and neat thing to have though to be specific.
