Flashlights and ormond
so, flashlights feels absolutely horrible right now, the angles, the amount of time it takes to blind now, the chain blinding, everything feels and looks just so bad, I genuinely don’t find flashlight interesting anymore as half the time they don’t even work properly, the way it’s pointed at the killer and etc just feels so off, I get it’s new and stuff but still, everything just feels wrong, and I understand Ormond was a survivor sided map, but literally half the map is empty and there’s like 2 god pallets sure, but the rest are either really average or completely useless. Same with some of the auto haven maps, the jungle gyms just feel a lot less safe and just ugh, so many things about the maps and the updates that were given to them, I’m not saying there shouldn’t be a nerd to Ormond or etc, but everything else just doesn’t feel right.

It's just different than what you're accustomed to it's really not that bad once you get the hang of it , though I do wish they would just leave them alone and quit changing things that aren't even a issue

They release one of the buggiest low tier killers the game as ever seen, and all survivor mains can complain about is flash lights being harder to use lol.
They still work fine to disarm traps and blind killers at pallets

There appears to be very little visual feedback as to whether or not you're getting a blind. Given how precise the timing already is for flashlight saves this is really problematic.
I much prefer to old angle, but the angle isn't really the problem. I want the same visual feedback as before to know how close I am to a blind and when I successfully get a blind. Looking for the BPs to pop up on the side is not ideal.

The killer hasn't even been out for a day. I think it's hard to put them in a tier until the meta shakes out, and especially when they're in a state this buggy. This post is about Ormond and flashlights. There are many, many other posts complaining about the Twins and the bugs.

Flashlights being harder to use is nowhere near game breaking and one item nerf getting as much attention as a whole killer that doesnt work properly is just silly

I agree that the killer and the broken new perks are a bigger problem, which is why there are so many posts about those. I do also think the flashlight change was horrible, though, and it makes complete sense to make a thread about it. I haven't played yet on new Ormond but I've seen some screenshots of massive dead zones, so I wouldn't be surprised if those complaints have merit.

So players shouldn't complain about something that is obviously an issue (the angle is WAY off and there is a weird sway) just because the new Killer is extremely buggy?

This Chapter is full of bugs, we should bring all of them up.
