Does Opression have good synergy with Surveillance?
I still haven’t brought the DLC yet (Because of Bugs) but I was curious to try a build on Myers. My idea build was: Corrupt, to get that tier 2-3 faster, always good on Myers. Trail of torment: When kicking a gen loose your TR but use only at T3 Myers. Opression and surveillance to know where to go and trigger Trail of Torment and get a cheeky Tier 3 hit with no TR.
Add ons: Increase stalking speed and a Increased Tier 3 duration.

That actually sounds interesting!

I tried it a few times early on, and no not really.
If someone is on a gen I almost always see them fail the skillcheck anyways, so you typically know where to go without surveillance. If they don't fail the skillcheck it won't do anything at all for you. If a random gen is regressing across the map, it's usually not super useful to know.
You might get some random information throughout the game but it's not nearly as effective as the usual ruin / undying / surveillance wombo combo.

Thanks! I really want to give it a try. I might just have to buy the DLC

Well, I guess that frees up a perk slot. I still would give it a try. Maybe I’ll swap surveillance for PGTW, just to, “Slow the game down, just a little bit!”

Even though Ruin/Undying is useless in itself. Hex perks are completely unreliable against a competent team.

Huntress Lullaby is a better combo imo

Nonsense. I think ruin / undying / discordance is almost the strongest perk combo for killers that has ever existed. The only one better was old ruin + pop. If I am playing well and ruin undying stays up for 2-3 minutes it has usually already done it's job. If you interrupt the early-game gens while getting a hook in or two it hard carries.
I am still farming BP but I really want to try coup de grace on Myers. He seems like the best killer in the game for it. I believe him and Ghostface are the only ones who are gonna get full value from it.

That goes the same with Perks that rely on the Survivors completing their objective to get any real value. Coup de grace is like choosing to have only 3 perks till they finish 2 gens. Against Survivors that know what they are doing you need consisten perks that always give results throughout the game. Hex Perks, and Perks that rely on the Survivors winning their objective are not reliable enough, that's the opposite of consistent.

Yeah it does, but ruin and surveillance work much better together. Even without undying.

You are never going to be going into games and not lose a gen, it's not possible. Especially on killers like Myers, who has a weak early game already. It also gives you downs throughout the game, instead of all at once like NOED.
I have been using ruin undying for hundreds of games and I could probably still count on one hand the amount of times it's dead so fast I think to myself "that was so fast".
As for coup de grace myers; he already has an extended lunge, he gets an instadown from it instead of a basic attack, and he can snowball extremely hard. Downing 2 survivors in rapid succession can end the game easily.

Yes, as long as people are off gens

Does PGTW work with oppression does kicking a Gen apply the 25% regression to other gens
0 -
From what I know, no. It only applies to gen that was kicked, that would be nutty if it did.

Sure you can get lucky and have these perks work well often, but when you reach the point as me. Where every team back to back is a SWF that is extremely adept at the game. Then using unreliable perks becomes NULL.

I forgot about Coup de Grace. Yeah, I think it would be good on Myers. I would just use tokens when at Tier 3, to get the most use out of the perk.

You can go watch good killer players win ~hundreds~ of games in a row while using it.
I play regularly and most SWFs are just people playing with their friends. It's only like 1 out of 20 games that I hit a full meta SWF with object of obsession.
With crossplay I almost never lose anymore. Solo Q teams get stomped almost every time. The game is very easy for seasoned killers, but very punishing for noobs currently. My favorite streamer had a 98% win ratio playing as perkless, add-onless clown.

Oppression synergies with losing the game because you only have 3 useful perks.

The gen turning white on its own isn't what's useful. What's useful is when that white gen turns yellow.
Oppression and Surveillance are good for playstyles that involve keeping Charlotte and Victor on far ends of the map.

The streamers that this community considers "the best" are hardly the best. I am one of the survivors you see Otz, Tofu, FunGoose, and Tru3 (etc) complain about. The whole reason I sound so Killer sided on these forums is because I play both and can safely say that Survivors are broken to ######### in this game. Like ever since looping became meta in the game, it really all went downhill from there if you ask me.
These same "Best Players" also say themself that you need reliable perks, and undying just makes hex perks more reliable that you can get value out hexes "most of the time" - not "all of the time". In addition they also agree that there is an incredible imbalance between Survivor and Killer, that Survivors are horrifically broken.
I always find it funny when people on the forums try to use streamers in their argument, like as if I havn't been in this community since the begginning lol.

I don't watch the big streamers anymore. I don't consider them the best.

Here you go, winning almost every game as perkless, add-onless clown at rank 1. This same guy went on a 350+ winstreak, switching killers every game, when using ruin undying. And you are gonna be in here telling me it's bad?

Oh boy. Youtube.
