Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

While Bloodlust was removed what did they do to beast of prey?

Bloodlust hasn’t been removed. They did a trial over a weekend to gather some data but that’s it. Bloodlust is back in the game.

It wasn't removed, but in the weekend it was, I'm guessing Beast Of Prey transcended.

Bloodlust was only disabled for that weekend as an experiment to see how things would play out without it. It has since been re-enabled.

Beast of Prey outright did not work during that weekend though (and I think the devs had acknowledged that it would be non-functional during the experiment).

If we ever do reach a point where Bloodlust does get major changes or is outright disabled, then they'll probably adjust Beast of Prey to activate after X seconds of chase or just give it the "Tinkerer Treatment" and rework its effect from the ground up.

They should take the easy way out and give the Bloodlust mechanic to Beast of Prey on top of everything else it has. At least then its a noob-friendly perk and not downright useless.

I think Beast of Prey would be a good perk to have instead of Bloodlust.

Something like "After x, y, and z seconds of being in an uninterrupted chase with a survivor, gain a certain amount of speed and lose your red stain. Pallets, stuns, leaving chase with a survivor, and being otherwise occupied removes these effects after a few seconds."
