DC on dead hook, do you need to give hatch?

So it’s known etiquette that you give hatch to the last survivor if a player DC’s, just wondering if the rule still applies when you’re about to hook a survivor for the third time and they DC out of spite / bitterness / frustration?

Just had an unhappy camper scream at me in the end game chat box because I put “gg”

    lol, you give people hatch when you feel like it. But if there was an early DC or multiple it would be nice to give the last person hatch. However, you don't have to.

    If they were going to die anyway then them dcing is a kindness to the other survivors since it gives them points. At that point it is the same game except that person screwed him/herself out of points.

    Yeah, I usually give hatch if someone dc at begining crippling the team. But if you have the last guy on your shoulders, your entitled to your hook and it's up to you if you want to give the last guy hatch.
