Are Twins the second slugging based killer?

I've seen a lot of videos and OhTofu showed how the twins do good with slugging. So we got the second slugging based killer. They don't beat the king of slugging Oni, but they seem to do fine with slugging.

I do think that they are actually more of a camping killer than slugging one.

I think they are supposed to mix slugging with area control. It's honestly hard for me to figure out how to play them optimally and not just go full braindead "HIT FINGS WITH LITTLE GUY THEN HIT FINGS WITH BIG GIRL". I intend to play the hell out of them because I hate myself. Maybe I'll find a strategy before depression sets in.

Oni isn't so much a slug Killer, but like Myers, his transformation only lasts so long until he has to rebuild it--though in Oni's case, picking up a survivor doesn't negatively impact the rest of the transformation aside from ending it where it's charged.

A lot of good Oni players will knock out a survivor and head to the closest survivor they know of. Even if one of the downed survivors make it back up, it's worth it to slow the game down a little bit.

I haven't had any that slug, just camp. Majority of my matches against them they camp. Pretty much Bubba 2.0.

Not like there's many options due to their slow nature

I really think Behavior has out done themselves this time. After thousands of posts asking that something be done about all the camp and tunnel in the game, the devs managed to make a killer who can camp and tunnel 2 different people a the same time. It is really something disheartening to behold. Luckily it seems that not all people playing this killer are taking it there, but I have encountered a few.

The problem is really that Victor is much stronger against injured survivors. You get free bloodhound so you can follow blood really easy and you aren't forced back to Charlotte so you can keep attacking survivors. There's not much value in just attacking a healthy survivor and attaching Victor to them.

If you miss with Victor or survivors stay in pairs as they're doing stuff, that all goes away, because Victor is gonna be getting killed every time you use him.
