They said that they werent doing much of an event this year because they have to focus on their biggest events (anniversary and halloween) but they made it out to seem we should be getting more than 10k bp a day later in the month

In a recent blog they said that they will be doing events for anniversary and halloween only, so i doubt

Sadly, the Advent Calendar is all we're getting.
While I agree with the codes, those are stupid, the 10k per day is just for the first week. They've said that multiple times on the forum. It's still a laughably small amount, but as far as I understand, the rewards will ramp up.
They stated, in their post about the event, that they're considering some Holidays simple "Celebrations" rather than events. This way, they can make their big events - the Anniversary and Halloween ones - actual ones. If that's true, this change is a good thing.
I don't see why they couldn't have activated the Winter lobby though.

But Winter is the most wonderful time of the year,also not every person in the world celebrates Halloween(talking about europe mostly)

I think they wanna spend some time showing off The Twins' lobby (I still miss Blight's) but maybe we'll get lucky and they'll activate it later in the month.

Halloween is still the most fitting event for DbD along with its anniversary. I don’t have celebrated Halloween in my life, ever, but I still think it’s the best fit.

This is supposed to be a horror game. (I say supposed for a reason) so it would make sense for Halloween to be one of their biggest events but if they are not giving us a christmas event because we got a lackluster halloween event, imma be sad.

all we have right now though is an ingame message giving us some stuff when we log in (the amount doesnt rly matter) and this stupid code redeem thing for contend creators.
none of that changes anything ingame - no decorations on maps, no new menu, no cool winter music, nothing.

That's fair. The stupid code thing needs to stop imo. It's dumb.
But yeah, it would be cool it we could get the lobby or music back, even if just for a few days.

I miss the old events :( they used to be so exciting to log in and see, I feel like the map reworkings have stolen alot of the devs time this year and before someone says "it's just graphics" there are alot of mechanics like breakable walls and collisions with objects that have to be tweaked when you add entirely different elements in the map , also the rng of how things spawn have to be adjusted and tests to make sure the map itself isn't glitching or causing major issues when in gameplay, sure the devs have dropped the ball alot this year but I've been here long enough that I can let it go and give them a clean slate for next year

How hard could it be to reintroduce menu music and graphics?
Or even reintroduce those little present nodes in the bloodweb? Those were nifty. Come on, BHVR.
