Give survivors a new mechanic which gives them the ability to drag a downed survivor
I mean it would only make sense to have that ability. It could also create some interesting plays. For example, it could be used for being able to heal the downed survivor in safety, or for a pallet save.
And please don't say that it would be abused in SWF (pallet saving), because you can just check the area and check if there is any survivor waiting to pallet save.
The dragging speed would be faster than crawling. The downed survivor would also have the option to turn off dragging, so they can't be trolled or something (they also have the option to turn it on again).

I don't want default Meg to drag me to the killer for the lulz sooooo... No, please no.

Sounds like you don't have any real argument to why they shouldn't give them that ability...
3 -
Trolling teammates in solo queue is not an argument? Ok then.
9 -
Just give the downed survivor the ability to disable the ability to drag them away while being downed...
3 -
that's the same of crawling from what you're describing.
4 -
Dude, the speed of dragging a survivor would obviously be faster...
1 -
I would just drag my friends across the map for the lulz 🤣
1 -
No because then teammates will start being stupid and trying to drag you to stupid places
6 -
so tenacity at the cost of wasting two survivors, good. Also, don't dude me if you didn't specify the actual effects, dragging a dead weight body isn't so easy you know...

If you would actually read the comments you would see that I replied with this: "Just give the downed survivor the ability to disable the ability to drag them away while being downed...".

It’s thematic I think it’s a great idea.
1 -
Do you actually care about Tenacity? Most people just run it in meme builds.

I kinda like this idea, as long as dragging is faster than crawling and the dragged survivor can keep healing up to 90%
3 -
Maybe if this was a perk where you could choose to move while healing a downed survivor at lets just say a flat 30-50% speed/Heal speed(Aka unaffected by healing speed increases as its a special action to do both at once).
Mind you like any healing like action the person being heal pulled could stop it at any time.

Seems kinda useless to me outside of SWF. Worst case scenario some dumbo keeps trying to drag and I keep interrupting them. Then they just leave me to die cuz they've decided that since I don't want to be dragged I don't want to be saved or I'm a detriment to the team so saving me is useless. It's just not worth doing in soloqueue and you'd maybe use it in SWF for fun.
1 -
Tell me something first how fast are they dragging them?
0 -
A little faster than crawling, so dragging would actually have a purpose.

Sounds more like a Killer mechanic. You can drag Survivors off pallets to prevent saves and drag them to hooks if you don’t want them to wiggle because there aren’t any nearby.
... also, you could drag a Survivor with Decisive Strike away from the exit gate so they can’t just leave with no counterplay

If speed in the dying state is an issue for a player, they can use Tenacity

I can see this ability being a dumpster fire in solo queue🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

If the gates were open and I saw a crawling survivor before i left the gates, i'd drag them back out the gates for the lols...I'm sure the post game chat would be interesting🤣

Well that guy gets more vote up than you
It can only mean that

Can we have two survivors carrying the downed survivor?!?! One by the legs and the other by the arms???!?

New rift challenge: Drag a survivor for 180 seconds
Can't wait for Meg to drag me around the map like we're racing the Grand Prix

Saw something like that in Die Hard with a Vengeance

Why do you guys still say something like that? I've already said ""Just give the downed survivor the ability to disable the ability to drag them away while being downed".
0 -
Why does it have to be a perk? It's not OP or anything. If it would be a perk, nobody would use it because it would be SO limited in terms of use. I also edited the thread saying the downed survivor have the option to turn off dragging.

If you have a trolling teammate in solo queue, then you most probably would lose anyway.
Purposely suiciding on hook, throwing down pallets for no reason, making noise near other survivors, sandbagging - these are much bigger problems, and the dragging mechanic would be the least abusable.

The dragging mechanic now can't be abused at all (at least as I expect it not to be), now that I gave the downed survivor an option to turn off dragging.

Notice how I said dragging WHILE healing them.
Aka both at once.
But why I don't feel like this should be a baseline mechanic is that its simply anti slug and given how much killers are increasingly needing to slug to not lose...
It simply wouldn't be healthy for the game right now.

Doesn't matter if it is WHILE healing, it would still be very limited in terms of use. So you think it's healthier for the game to fix slugging by just have a million anti slugging perks? Wow you sound exactly like the devs, don't really want to fix something, so you just make a perk for it 😂

The issue is that slugging helps with the current game speed issues.
It could be add in baseline later down the line once the game speed issues have been resolved but until then no.
Remember slugging is generally speaking the killer trying to stall for time outside of rampage killers like Oni/Michael/Plague and sometimes bubba.

I cant think of a single scenario where a survivor would want to drag someone screaming in pain somewhere and not just heal them instead.
