Update 4.4.1 problem. Info needed!!! Please!
Hello all,
Hoping anyone can answer this. But my Game Pass for PC version got updated to v4.4.1 and now I can't play with my gf who's on xbox series x because it says versions are mismatched. The xbox has no pending updates and I can't find a single thing anywhere about v4.4.1... anyone else having this issue? A way to roll backing? I've already uninstalled and reinstalled..
Its very upsetting as its one of the few games we play together and is crossplay.

verify your files. this could also be the person that invited you has not updated for some reason. this is something that could be on either side of the swf/kyf side

I have Uninstalled and reinstalled and everything. There is no record anywhere of a 4.4.1 release. 4.4.0 JUST released December 1st. One guy replied to me on Twitter saying its happened to him too. But 4.4.1 is not released for xbox what so ever and if it was you can't launch an Xbox game without having latest update installed.
I just don't understand this. And I'm not in any beta program

relax it will be resolved tomorrow when the hotfix(4.4.1) comes out.
edit: does it have any patch notes?

then submit on the bug page. sometimes it takes a while for this to get to the devs. go to their web page and submit a support ticket that goes to their ticket queue and right into the bug team.

No patch notes. Checked everywhere in game and in the windows store no mention of this hot fix. Did you find somewhere says one is coming tomorrow??

Delete the folder, then verify your files.
If u want to go 100% sure that it will work tho, delete the folder and then re-install.

This file doesn't exist. Is this a solution for steam users? Mine is installed via windows store

Yep this is for steam users, for Microsoft would be %LOCALAPPDATA% \Packages\BehaviourInteractive.DeadbyDaylight

well there is your problem right there it's microsoft.. no, sorry couldn't help that :P might be steam only, I still suggest you submit a ticket to the devs to get the help you need. they know the microsoft store installation better than anyone.

Thanks. I did. Just odd to get an update with no notes and no info.. maybe Microsoft released the update early by accident

it does sound like you got something inadvertantly that is causing issues. i just don't pay attention to if it's ver 4.4.1 or 4.4.0 on my system unless there is an error. and sorry I really was being sarcastic about the "thats your problem" bit.. hehe

they said the hot fix would be in a week after the release of the twins, it should be tomorrow.
