Let's take a moment of silence for Hoarder
Another one of the Twins perks bites the dust π
It's now a bad tracking perk that will help the survivors more than the killer
Inb4 nerf to oppression that only makes it only activate if all the gens are done

Oh. So it's only upside of being able to maybe counter keys getting found wasn't even intended.
RIP indeed.

God, what's the point in it now? Get a notification all 6 times the person running Plunderer's gets a key per match?

They increased the distance from where it can be used. This is a very tame nerf, still unnecessary tho.

Maybe it works well with franklins. Survivors usually want their item back

going by their recent logic regarding nerfs that sounds right in line with their goals lmao. perks and offerings are cosmetics only ha ha ha. but only for the killers you can voip second/third/turd chance all day and night until you run enough killers off of the game that you then get to cry about half hour queue times afterwards if survivor mains.
"no more moris? no problem, I can at least use an offering to cancel those annoying maps swf wanna take me to. It's not like if all 4 of them use the offering for their hellhole of choice my ward to cancel it won't work." btw if you see all 4 of the same offering and they aren't a cake, kill the game as quickly as you can while still on the offerings screen. survivors did it to mori to not lose their offerings or get the dc timer, now it's killers' turn to do it to survivors every time they last second 16 second swap to some bs they don't like. The difference is that killer queue will be 20 seconds while survivor queue will be 20 minutes, they'll learn to stop doing that if they don't wanna spend all night in queue swapping out their keys and fleshlights and annoying map offerings. Killers have the luxury of just getting another lobby quickly. Survivor queue times and time spent going straight back into queue or waiting for another killer were the true nerfs. If they could dish it out then they can take it.

Yes, dedicate half your build to depriving survivors of their items. It's trash.
I have used it with Bubbas item's dropping chainsaw. It gets you into an early chase at the best. But so does.....every other good tracking perk in the game? And they don't buff the survivors chances of looting a key?

Good point

This mechanic for the Perk was intended, it's a selling point in the trailer too.
(It should automatically put you on 2:47 when you click it, but if it doesn't, go to 2:47.)
But now it's gone already.
Y'know, the DLC is only out for a little bit now, but this point of the Perk is already gone.
I know the thing of "everything is subject to change", but this is mighty fast after release. π€

They removed that? Listen. I'm an Ace Survivor main recently who has a thing for chest builds, and I couldn't hate this change more. Why in the world would they remove that?

Franklins doesn't need this perk because i can see when an item is picked up by survivors, the item even has an aura, so why do i need explosions to happen?

To be fair,
It wouldn't be BHVR if they wouldn't nerf perks that are already trash

It does work well with Franklins as Iβve done this quite a bit.

By just standing, and staring at the item aura so you can know the exact moment a pick up occurs?!
Hoarder with Franklins means a killer can know exactly when an item is picked up, rather than simply notice the item is no longer there in passing by the area.

Like I hardly need to know exactly when an item is picked up. If I see its gone I know they're in the general area, and if im using franklins ill probably be keeping an eye on the item and location. I cant justify hoarder as a perk when other perks do its job better.

Lmfao, it's like Gearhead all over again. I feel like someone on the dev team just really dislikes Killers because this is comical now.

Knowing the position of survivors can be more of a boon than anything.
I can't tell you how many times I've been hooked in the basement and someone rummages through the chest before taking me off hook. How many people run Franklin's? A lot. Any time someone picks up an item. Any time someone rummages through a chest.
Imagine what the perk would be a week, a month from now? No one would bother looking through chests if rarity decrease was a thing. It's already hard enough to find anything decent in the chest that won't put you instantly on someone's ebony mori stockade hitlist.
