Moris nerfed into oblivion, Keys untouched
I don't disagree with the Mori nerf. I could even enjoy it if I could find a survivor game in a reasonable amount of time.
Meanwhile, many of us forced to play Killer, if we want to play this game, continue to have to deal with keys. The cause of 4 survivors being able to escape with only 4 gens done. Don't forget to T-bag when the Killer catches on.
I haven't played this game in a bit, honestly. Whenever I check back, I see the devs continue to go deeper down the wrong path.

Keys have been acknowledged as a problem but resolving the issue with keys is probably more complicated.
Mori's aren't even nerfed into oblivion...if you're decent at the game, unless you're having the worst game ever, you will have people on second hook by mid to late game and then you can literally just poof them out of existence without worrying about DS. It is quite powerful still.
I think it's a good thing that this specific change came sooner rather than later. You don't need Mori's to shut down keys. It just made it way easier. Now it's harder.
And if you really have a problem with keys (and trust me, I do), you can just dodge lobbies with a key and find another one in 15 seconds cuz killer queues are instant.
Now if the key issue does not get resolved in several months, then we have a reason to complain...but I believe it will come sooner rather than later. Hope I'm right about this.

Mori was not “nerfed into oblivion”. It’s still quite powerful. If you are struggling to get kills without a mori, that has nothing to do with balance, and instead, has to do with lack of skill (most of the time). Keys have been acknowledged, but will take much much longer since they need an entirely different mechanic.

The animations they've supposedly been working on for 3 years since the first Mori nerf? The animations that are being worked on but aren't finished even though new generator animations where? The animations that are being worked on but this graphic update came first? These mori's getting nerfed in haphazard, sloppy and lazy way on a HOTFIX instead of on a main patch? Without any warning, without any clear commentary for the reasoning?

Just like keys right? No those are fine staying as they are without any clear date on change for the last 3 years.

4 survivors can only escape with 5 gens done. Is always the number of survivors+1 gens done to be able to see/escape by the hatch.

I just got mori'd after single hook where I didn't go into struggle. I guess as long as your next hook is struggle the mori still works. So moris weren't nerfed, the description just changed. 😂

No, it's not sloppy or lazy way, this is how moris should've always been. Don't ask me obviously im not part of the dev team so idk how they're working on keys, but they're working on them, and it's most likely a more difficult to do than moris. Btw, pretty sure they announced the gen animations and stuff before the key and mori rework

- Killers & Survivors agree Mori should be nerfed
- Killers dont like the way Mori nerfed
- Nerf is so all of sudden, while key not touched.
- Because everyone know Mori & Key are the pair things that get nerfed, key get spammed before they get nerf.
I just have a game as Survivor where 2 others brought 2 keys

I honestly suspect it was a change aimed to improve Baby Survivor experience. I don't see many killers above Green slotting Moris. I have dozens, haven't used one in months. Maybe it's a thing in the lower ranks.
But seriously, guys, optics. You publish a broken, early release state killer who has to basically camp, slug and play like a scumbag to have a chance. You nerf Pop but not DS... you now gut Moris but not Keys... it seems like you have something against killer players at this point. What's next? Hex Totem rework that makes it so they're attached to Survivors' back and when the killer attacks one, he breaks it himself?

Mori's have super been nerfed into the ground. They effectively do nothing.
Mori's were already an item I ignored, something I had to grab because a better item was behind it, but they were at least strong. A once every so often for shits and giggles thing.
Now they aren't even good for that. I was already dissapointed when they popped up and now I see them as literal bp locks to get the item behind it. I'd much rather they were either removed completely or downgraded to at the very least yellow status. Maybe they won't show up ever single web that way.

Moris were really cheap and didn't require much to be used, you could remove survivor from the match really fast. I shouldn't have to explain this, it's pretty obvious. I believe mori just exists for the cool animations instead of a hook death, not to be abused.

People really are exaggerating about this change. Mori's are still a powerful offering to bring as they skip DS, UB, sabotages or body blocks for hooks, flashlight saves and the time required to pick a survivor up and take them to a hook.
They're strong, but not overpowered anymore and more of a fun offering to bring.
If Mori's become too strong, they make the game miserable.
