Do you use Keyboard or Controller?

I have time playing games on PC and keyboard is just janky. And again, Quake is a twitchy game. There is more value to changing directly quickly. DBD is not Quake. It's more about being able to hug loops or doing 360 movements, both of which are easier with a controller. Not that you can't do it with a keyboard, I never said that, just that it's easier with a controller. Pretty much everyone I've spoken to has said this, if you don't think so you'd be the first to say that to me.

I was just told by a mod on that subreddit who said analog sticks have a natural delay, which makes movements less snappy. Multiple other people on the thread have also confirmed this. The mod also said they have never heard of anyone using an analog stick for movement in a competitive FPS game.
So, it seems to me that keyboard is faster than a controller. And I even provided you a few examples of why snappier movement would benefit you in DbD. Don't believe me? Try it yourself for at least a thousand hours like I have.
And you still haven't answered my question about how many hours you have playing DbD with a keyboard. As far as I know, you still play DbD on console.

I've had some friends tell me that I would hinder myself and never reach rank 1 using a controller. (survivor)
Is this true?

Not true at all especially for surv.

i played with controller one time as a survivor and i can tell you that i prefer keyboard. the movement feels really smooth but just pressing RB to interact with stuff and LB to do other things just feels too odd. i dont know how it is to play killer on controller but i can imagine it being easier (mostly cuz i just main survivor and dont like playing killer). but i love the skillchecks on controller
