Freddy being nerfed
In my personal opinion freddy may need some fixes on his lunge because of some hits i know shouldnt have hit. but im begging you to the bottom of my heart not to change his power or his addons. everything else is fine but if you nerf freddys add ons and power it just shows this game is survivor sided.

They are. Freddy in my opinion is what every killer should be. He has many tricks and also has many counters. If I was in charge of changing him I would make the clock sleep cool down longer. If you wake up through a clock 30 seconds of cool down till sleep timer starts. If you wake up blowing a gen up it should be 45 seconds because not only a actual explosion happen next to the survivors face but they probably got hurt because of this. This also will alert freddy where you are and undo some work on the gen so there are disadvantages and advantages of doing this. Knowing the devs he is going to nerfed to the ground and or end up like Hillybilly and only have like 4 good add ons. Its going to be a sad day indeed.

Freddy's lunge is the same length and speed as all the killers. It just looks wacky because of how short he is, and how small his weapon is. He needs to travel the same distance as, say, Doctor - who is tall and has a big weapon.

He's absurdly easy for very little effort. Why in the world shouldn't he be changed? A monkey missing his dominant hand could manage to get to red with him lol. I wouldn't say his power itself is crazy (though it kinda is) but he's just way too darn simple to play.

He is balanced. He just requires you to play slightly different and that's why he's hard for some people.

His lunge won't change. He's 115% so he has the 115% lunge. Its always been that way since his launch. Freddy is incredibly strong and takes minimal skill or knowledge to play well.
You can easily throw on Ruin and undying and a slowdown add on or two and win purely through attrition.
Snares need a cooldown between uses and passive sleeping should either be removed OR (and this is probably the more fair version as it wouldnt punish Freddies who actually play well and set up snares before hand) remove the 15% faster regen for every sleeping survivor. There's NO EXCUSE for him being rewarded for doing nothing. None at all. Especially as that was the reason for the ruin rework.

I'm actually looking forward to this nerf. He has way too much going for him. And its incredibly easy to do so. From my experience, most freddy's will bloodlust you with snares around a pallet until you are downed. Then he goes off to teleport to a gen where pop comes in or ruin hits and the gen regresses. And then rinse and repeat.
He is incredibly annoying and boring doing the same thing. Idk about swf but with solos its difficult to beat him. I'm not saying he deserves a mega nerf, imo I just think he should be toned down because he has alot going for him with little effort. I wish old freddy got buffed tbh😞

for the 70000000000000000000000 time, freddys launge is the same as the rest of the killers, myers is the only exception. also imo he is fine, he has lot of counterplay since he is an m1 killer, drop the pallet, he needs to break it, dont greed just that.

Freddy is balanced, hes just a difficult player to play against, but maybe for a balance idk change something about the dreamworld or idk, even remove his teleportation ability because it kinda is a bit op that he counts with snares and teleportation, but overall i think hes balanced.

different speed killers don't have different speed lunges anymore all lunges are now 6.9 m/s

he isn't hard for anyone, he is the lowest skill floor killer in the game for his power level, anyone can pick up freddy play bad the entire game and still end up with a 4k, this is why he needs to be nerfed because his kit provides too much utility with no skill needed to use it effectively,

not really, I have enough hours in the game to spot the low skill floor killers, freddy definitely doesn't take anything special to play well, sure there are people good at freddy but the point is for his power level is really high for his low skill floor

Again as said in many other threads:
It is not the lunge, it is the HITBOX that looks wacky, as he has the shortest weapon in the game. Even hag has a longer weapon than Freddy. If the lunge would look strange, it would look the same "strange" on Legion and Blight for example.

You're not addressing the question. You are just rambling that Freddy is super OP and needs nerf yet bring nothing to the table. So what's OP about him? What do you, specifically think should be done with him?

He brings low skill floor, way too much utility, and a decent power level for minimal skill? sorry if you cant understand that
but his basekit of snares with no slowdown, fakable map long teleport, and no tr passively make him really easy to play and really strong
heres some changes that make him more skill based or require actual thinking sometimes
make pallets basekit so snares have to be addon dependent so you have to give up an addon slot to use the better power
make teleport not cancelable basekit
have a slowdown for a second or two when placing a snare
have more layers to the lullaby so its not just 32 meters of the same sound and you have to guess where freddy is rather have a judgement of hes 32-16 and 16-0
slow passive sleep to take 2x longer outside of his terror radius
heres some changes that turn him into a killer that requires skill to win and not the game doing it for you

It's not that I don't understand it's just not very productive to say THIS NEEDS NERF! But then offer up no solutions of your own, not that the developers will read it anyways... but at least to have a productive conversation with others. Now to your actual points:
-I would be on board with making pallets basekit or making snares not slowdown until upping the addons. I think that's fair but I don't think that part of him is particularly OP, at least not to experienced players. The counter to that is just to keep jumping tiles. But I think what might be a better nerf is to take him down to Hag speeds at 110%, this makes him much more reliant on snares and not wasting his power times on feigning as much.
-I also agree that his movement speed could use a short slowdown when placing snares or pallets.

I'm good on both of those but I would say if you make his sleep take longer then the penalty should be harsher for survivors fail skill checks, use other survivors just to wakeup or remove that counter play entirely. Waking up by running to the clocks should be most encouraged and should cause the survivors not to suffer from any penalty.

from your text I can see you know the experienced strat on how to get chased by a freddy, but you can't tell his problems on why he has high kill rates and is considered op when looking from an outside perspective in at him

Freddy is the easiest killer in the game and also one of the strongest, easily 3rd-5th strongest IMO.
Snares are basically a mimicry of Clown's power, so you have to drop pallets early or will get hit.
Teleporting is basically Demogorgon's power, but stronger, with less counter-play.
Falling asleep overtime into slow-down addons gives Freddy a pseudo-stealth TR, access to his snares against survivors and makes generators more difficult to complete and easier to defend. Sure, you can go wake yourself up. but every method wastes time and just gives Freddy more pressure for doing absolutely nothing.
He's in a dire need of a nerf.

I mean I have Freddy p3 with all perks so I have a good amount of time spent with him. So I'd say I know what it's like to play as and against him pretty well.

But you don't understand with all his easy to pick up and use utility for his low skill floor means his overturned and in need of a downgrade so more skill based gameplay shines through and he isn't the so easy anyone can pick it up and do well character

I've agreed on several points and apparently that's still not enough for you. I think before we continue on this we need to have a definition of what is balanced and what is not. What killer do you believe to be most consistent and balanced?

consistent and balanced, well all I can really think of is blight, if you are good he is good, if you are bad he is bad, killers along that line where how well you do with them is directly tied to how well you can use their tools instead of how well their tools play the game for you are probably the most balanced ones

He's still a little too new for me to consider him most balanced. His addon's are pretty meh, and the camera is quite awful on him. If I had to pick I'd probably say huntress. She is a fun killer overall and has pretty decent addon's but isn't addon dependent.

blights addons are underated tbh, but I have played him enough to know that the only way you can do well with im is to be able to use his power to a good extent, or you are just playing a m1 115 killer which most survivors know how to play against

Huntress is a good pick. Everything aside from the addon that shall not be named and the long-outdated exhaustion addons (I mean come on, 30 and 90 seconds is a long ass time now that exhaustion doesn't go down while running) is pretty balanced.

Honestly, can't wait for the Freddy re-rework. Now that Ruin/Undying is the new boring meta, Freddy mains REALLY don't have to use their brains to outplay Survivors. I hope the passive sleep timer is just completely done away with along with his slowdown addons. No other Killer has slowdown addons that just passively work; Huntress, Billy and Bubba all have to hit with their abilities to get use out of them.

My evidence that he is to strong is myself
l can’t get to rank 6 with any other killer, l am literally really bad at playing killer, l don’t enjoy at all
l am rank 3 with Freddy with the same amount of playtime as my other killers, the only reason l am rank 3 is because l am playing Freddy.
l get far less frustrated playing him because his kit is so user friendly and you l get maximum reward for my sub par killer play.
