Let it build up to 5 tokens and it’d be fine IMO.

Raise token cap to 5, maybe add a score event for gaining tokens? Survivors need more ways to get survival points.

Consuming a token reveals the killers aura for 3 seconds. May be a bit too strong though.

I doubt people would use the perk even if it was buffed. The only good use it had was if you couldn't hit ruin skillchecks

Allow the perk to gain tokens while in a chase and raise the token cap to 5, then it'd be somewhat decent.

Make the 1% great skill check bonus active at all times, and not just when consuming a token.

I kind of like stake out as it is since it acts both as a killer detector and has a great bp bonus for doing gens safely if you aren't fully confident about your ability to hit most of your great checks... it also works when healing iirc. Don't think I tried it against the jigsaw traps though, which is kind of funny since they came together in their dlc. If you have akiller with tunnel vision on somebody near enough you can also do great check after great check on a gen

I'd change would make it so if its used for healing it's progression bonus is a flat 2 seconds bonus progression.
Aka it grants a flat 12.5% healing progression if its tokens are used for healing.

Why would it need a cooldown?

- Increase to 5 tokens.
- Can gain tokens in a chase.
- Lose half your tokens (rounded down) for getting hit.
- Double or even triple the progress the skill checks give you when using a token.
This rewards you for using it in a chase by escaping and allows you to build stacks more quickly, but also gives it a risk losing stacks for getting hit in a chase.

Give it 4 tokens across all tiers, change the time needed to earn a token to 20/16/12 seconds.

raise the stack count up to 5 and lower the time it takes to get stacks

I really wouldn't change anything about it aside from adding more tokens.

It is though, hitting a great skill check will still give you +2% even if you don't have any tokens.

Oh really? I didn't know that! I was always a little confused on the perk's wording and thought it was only a bonus from using a token.
