Why is blight serum for killers disabled but refined serum and broken bulb for survivors still enabled?

they said the blight serum would only be available for the duration of the event, but it lasted longer. Dont know why they decided to deactivate it now, but I dont see it having a big impact.

It wouldn't be a problem if they disabled survivors addons too which they didn't
