Dead by Daylight x Fortnite
What do you think about this collaboration?
I would like to see something DbD related in Fortnite and Fortnite in DbD.

Art styles are too dissimilar to fit.

Who would even be the killer?

While it would certainly be a lucrative deal for Bhvr, I don't play fortnite myself so I have no interest in such a partnership. Might be funny to see some fortnite skins in dbd, or at least skins that are in that wacky, colorful artstyle. As long as it isn't a fortnite chapter, I wouldn't mind.

I've seen some posts in my time but none like this.

Preferably not.

Ignoring every other conflict I have do you really believe it's a good idea to mix the playerbase of Fortnite with Dead by Daylight? Isn't the majority of the players in Fortnite very young? Would you really want to expose them to this game?
To also clarify on mixing playerbases. Any crossover means someone is likely going to look at the opposite product if they participate in the event or update.

They've already been exposed to guns. We're past the point of no return. :P

Dead by Daylight has a lot of blood and gore in comparison to Fortnite where when you die in that game you just disappear with happy sounds playing in the background. Although I was more so referring to the community and meta this game circles around being frustrating.

This is probably the best reason not to do a crossover. The two games have very different target demographics. Fortnite is rated 12+, while DBD is rated 18+. It would be inappropriate, irresponsible and borderline illegal for the DBD developers to be encouraging children and teenagers to play their game through a crossover with a game like Fortnite.

LMAO

Fortnight had Borderlands 3 and Stranger Things dlcs.
Borderlands 3 is very violent/gory more so than DbD.

Its happened before. Borderlands is more graphic than DbD gore/dismemberment/worse language/sexual themes and jokes...
Crossed over with fortnite

I played a lot of fortnite last year and even more dbd but I wouldn't want to see this.
Then again.. if I got my tricera ops in dbd then I'd be a very happy man

Fortnite is one of the most popular games right now and it would undoubtedly bring attention to Dead by Daylight, despite how much the counter culture contrarians dislike the idea

i'm talking about skins and maybe partnership but not Chapter.
Chapter? Who should be a killer? Storm King? Silly xD
DbD is technically 18+ but Borderlands and Stranger Things was in Fortnite.

That's between 2K and Epic, but also I would argue it's a bit different. Although Borderlands 3 has the same rating as DBD, first of all it's not marketed as Horror, which is a traditionally "adult" genre, much more so than Action RPGs. Secondly, the atmosphere of Borderlands is different in the way it portrays gore - it's much more lighthearted and cartoonish, even though there's a lot of blood and guts, whereas DBD is not played for laughs in any way - it's a dark depiction of what we're meant to view as real people being brutally tortured and executed. And the way violence is depicted does actually matter in terms of how it affects an impressionable audience.
It's also a matter of how the developers perceive their own game, which is why I said the crossover was a matter between 2K and Epic. The DBD developers seem to take the ethical side of being involved in the development of such a mature game very seriously, which is why they refuse to include children in the game, for example. I'm not saying that 2K are not responsible developers - I'm sure the DBD devs' attitude has as much to do with everything I explained above as it does with their own personal views - but there are a lot of good reasons why DBD has an age-gated website and Borderlands 3 does not.
Borderlands is also thematically much more akin to Fortnite, but that's a far less important issue.

Sure! I love both games and if it helps bring more players to dbd I don't see the problem :)

knowing epic this would never happen letting their skins as people call the characters in game a crossover would happen as they would make an a agreement an add the dbd characters in as skins
AND NO I WOULD NOT LIKE TO SEE DRIFT AND BRITE AS SURVIVORS

I mean, isnt halo rated M? I’m all against fortnite crossover but technically they already have a halo crossover with fortnite which halo is a rated M game

The games are too different, I don’t think they would mesh well
2 -
I agree with everything you said!

Borderlands 3 was placed into Fortnite because Borderlands 3 got the Epic Store 1 Year exclusive deal, so they placed it in as a Crossover (AKA Cash grab). As for Stranger Things, Demo was added for 'Stranger Things Day' and he only appears once per year in the store. Not only that but Fortnite has now got Marvel and DC into the game with alongside Star Wars with the Disney contract, so I very much doubt Fortnite would ever crossover with DbD.
