Why slugging for the 4K may not be a great idea and could cost killers in the long run
The higher the kill rates are (70% survivor kills avg from earlier this year), the more pressure there will be for BHVR to balance in favor of survivors to bring that number closer to 50%.
Once these changes are made they tend to stick around.
The changes could be buffing survivors or nerfing killers or game changes that are more favorable to survivors. We'll see if this comes to pass.

The game isn't balanced solely around red ranks.
Average kill rate across all ranks is 56%
That's with active challenges. If survivors don't mess around, ignore challenges and just repair / loop the kill rate will be even lower.

Yea more nerfing killers=>long waiting time for survs

This is how you know that being data driven rather than being data INFORMED is wrong.
Nurse is 40% kill rate, yet by far the best killer in the game and needs a nerf.
Freddy is mid tier at best, and they are going to nerf him.
Pig is easily TOP of the BOTTOM tier yet she is number 2?

I personally don't slug for 4K unless I know the exact location of the last survivor. It's pretty boring and a hatch escape/3K is still a win.

You're welcome. The stats were originally posted on DBD's Twitter account a while ago I think.

You know what is funny thing abaut these kill statistics? I've played since 2016 /when survivors were OP as hell. But yet still kill rates were 50% back then. But it was obvious the game wasn't balanced as survivors had queque times over +45 minutes sometimes in high rank.
