DS promotes tunneling
How to counter DS
1 hook survivor
2 survivor gets unhooked
3 down and pick up survivor
4 eat DS to counter unbreakable and late game DS*
5 repeat step 3
6 repeat
* If this doesn't happen skip to step 6

Yeah, once you figure ot everyone has D-strike and Deliverance..The game becomes 70% less enjoyable.

If you picked up the survivor right after unhooking, you’re still tunnelling them regardless of DS
at the very least DS makes tunnelling slower as a result of the stun, but really that’s all it does.

Yeah honestly if I get DS'd all that means to me is a free tunnel pass.

What if you hook someone and leave. You take 10 steps and the save is made. You turn back around and the 2 are gone. You can't find the rescuer but you can see the blood trail. How is it tunneling if there is no one else to go after? Ignoring the blood trail is giving up a chase and counter productive to the killer's objective. There are plenty of times when I eat a DS not because I was tunneling but because I found the unhooked by chance or they got cocky and came to me because they have DS.

If you get hit with DS start at step 5 and proceed with the chart
This will make DS unusable and get you a hook without the problem of hitting someone twice and then getting DS

No what he's saying in reality because its such a strong perk the best way to counter it is to tunnel and get rid of it asap.
Not many people seem to understand this, i mean ig fairly including the devs who call it an anti tunneling perk when in reality its aggressive perk
