SO many dcs tonight

Please get rid of the penalties. I'm tired of my teammates dcing for no reason and then being forced to play in a loss game

i don't think the dc penalty is a bad thing. Without it way more dcs would happen because nothing is stopping them. Rage quitting is not a valid excuse i don't care what anyone says. People that think it's bad are the people who are dcing because they're against a killer they don't like or they got found first or the survivors are looping them too well. Get over it and play the game, you know what you're signing up for why press the ready button.

Boringslinger, Spirit without soundbug, Clown my eyes&brain or old legion… maybe twins

Deathslingwr is fine. Maybe think harpooning someone during the unhook aught to count as a hit and let the unhook finish, but otherwise fine.

Against a spirit, just play hide and seek like the game was originally designed for.

Twins... idk. You get a notification when Victor is sent out, but... they're new. Need some more time to form an opinion. The idea is good, maybe more fine tuning.

I liked old Legion, exploits aside. I miss the speed add-ons at least. Their good now, but...meh. I didn't really play survivor then, so I really can't say anything to that effect.

My point is, you not being good against a killer doesn't make that killer OP. You didn't even mention Bubba, with a Fast-as-Legion insta-down with full movement control.

So you're asking the devs to remove dc penalties because you have teammates who dc and leave you alone in the match?

If any they have to increase the penalties for dc to counter this nonsense instead of removing the penalties.

Remove the penalties and you increase the dc during the matches.

Most survivor mains play this game for the 1v1 … yes all killers should have a fair chance in the 4v1 but as solo q main without small pp u can t say that there only good designed killer. A killer like twins shouldn t promote camping; stealth is boring af lmao i would rather do gens that playing a bush simulator!

i love bubba, the buff was maybe a bit much… imo perfect designed are nurse or billy

people wouldn’t leave in the first place had this game been designed for both sides to have a chance. Survivors get slammed every game 😂 people get tired of losing. This game really does suck on the survivor side. It’s so much more fun and consistent playing killer (although a little stressful having to stay busy all of the time going from gen to gen, survivor to survivor managing all of that)

People would not DC in the first place had this game been a little more fair for survivors. Not every team of 4 is 100% all the time productive and communicating. Even the best get beat 50% of the time. The ones that aren’t get beat 100% of the time. This game is balanced around communicating teams so the killer has been buffed like crazy. They need to tone the killer down a bit.

I'm pretty sure most people would disagree. Killer is the lesser role in most cases. There are very few killers that are the top role in a match and even then its iffy. The game is not balanced around swf it's balanced in favor of survivors currently. That's why theres a huge lack in killers queuing.

You’re absolutely wrong. It’s not balanced for solo survivors that’s for sure. Do I have to screen shot every single game and tally up how many games everyone or anyone escapes vs everyone dying for you? Everyone definitely dies way more often I really don’t feel like having this argument with people that are so clearly playing killer for their first time. Killer is absolutely the easiest role to play, although it is a little stressful due to managing gens while killing survivors at the same time which may seem like a lot to you. But it’s not. With the right perks, abilities, add ons, a killer that fits your play style that meshes with those perks, add ons and abilities you will win way more than you lose. Oh and a headset will do you some good so you can get audio queues for injured survivors. I do it every game as killer and most games I feel bad and just let the last two repair or mess around with them until I’m ready to let them escape . As long as the last guy doesn’t try to just skip out on gens and go for the hatch. Then Ill definitely kill him/her. But all in all, I gotta say from my perspective (which I have been playing since the game came out) I can tell you it’s more killer sided 🤔

When I dc or sacrifice myself on the hook in soloQ, half of the time it's because of my fellow survivors are totally uselss, not bc of the killer playing scumy. The killer can play the fairest possible, if you get potatoes that urban evasion around the whole time, not doing anything usefull, not coming to unhook you even when it is OBVIOUSLY SAFE to do so (obsession being chased or me using kindred), it will still be a really bad game.

    🤣🤣🤣🤣

No offence here, but balancing around survivor?

What have you been smoking? 😂

The people that dc are the ones who don't want to adept.

Oh I don't like this killer so I'll dc.

Oh I don't like this map so I'll dc.

Oh I don't like this build he's using so I'll dc.

Seriously survivors dc over the most dumbest of reason.

They just want to sit at a gen not thinking about anything or anyone.

But if they put in just a tiny little bit of effort, they can have a great game and possibly even escape.

Hell I had a survivor recently when we were facing a spirit on the game map.

Around 30s in the game, that person goes down and immediately dc.

Had that idiot not done that than there was a big chance most of us made it out.

We got down to 1 gen with the 3 of us, so with 4 it would definitely be gg and most likely escape.

It is stupid to dc in the first place (not talking about connection errors).

You play a team game and you know full well before you even start up this game, so you just screw over your team on your own selfish reasons.

For that i would love to see an increase in the penalties than what they are now.

I play solo always every day because that is more fun, yet I get out about 90% of the time.

So there is 0 communication on my end, so how do I pull it off?

Simple, i have given a pair of eyes and ears.

I search for the killer and look at what sorts of loops are close.

A little situational awareness will get you a long way, combine that with a little bit of brain usage and you get out.

But unfortunately the survivors are never pleased and want the easiest games

Also if killers are so buffed and survivors are nearly powerless, how is it that i have no problem escaping without any perks and items or with a no mither build without iron will?

And yes no matter the build I always do gens, save, heal, bones and get into chases.

So don't get me wrong here, not trying to be toxic or what ever.

But if you have problems as survivor with escaping, than that might be a you problem.

As survivor is absolutely the easiest role in dbd without any doubt.

If you run into people who are lag switching and you have iffy internet, then this a huge problem. Myself I've been DCd from network lost and I still got penalty twitch 4 min now it's at 8,I hope if this continues I don't get banned because I didn't leave just lag out.

And another three feeding the ultimate survivor biased forum "user".

Just check his discussion history to know that arguing with him is as productive as discussing philosophy with the next wall.

(Btw if this counts as framing or shaming, I don't care and will continue until I get banned or whatever. People have to be warned of feeding trolls.)

Who are you to tell me with whom I may exchange comments?! If you want to give me an advice to not engage in a discussion with this particular user, than do so in a neutral way, but not with such a patronizing tone! It just makes YOU look like the troll! And even if he is trolling / entitled to his pov so arguing makes no sense, it's still my "right" to come to the same conclusion as you.

I do wish they would take a good look at DC stats for each Killer. I played against a lot of Doctors this weekend, and in every single match, we had at least one player deliberately DC (and yes, it was obvious by the timing that it was deliberate and not an actual DC). That screams (pun intended) that folks simply don't like playing against the Doctor, which tells me he needs to be re-worked. If people are choosing to DC out of your game because of something, that should be a huge red flag that something is wrong with the game. I suspect there are a few other Killers who also have high DC stats.

I will never understand why people hate playing against doc.

I just love going against him.

He's nowhere strong or annoying imo.

I could understand before his rework people found him annoying with his passive static field.

    But now?

He has to wait till it recharged and if you don't use whispers, it's just a lucky guess when you use the static blast

Lol don’t try and reason with someone who uses a false reason to get rid of dc penalties so they themselves can dc without repercussions.

you are wasting your time lol

killer and solo both have it rough, but if they ever actually do make the needed separate queue for anybody in 3 or 4 man lobby, they'll need tot hen buff survivors int he solo or solo/duo only queue to make up for how chatoic it would be in games with mostly solos or a duo and two randoms. it would be safe then to start looking at both sides, and to keep it mode specific. nerfs/buffs where needed on killers and buffs where needed on survivors in the solo mode to balance it out abit and keep those changes applying just to the solo/duo mode so that swf mode owuldn't kill itself off abusing it all lol. swf mode would still get traffic, especially if it gave double bp or everything counted twice toward rift progress.

The fact of the matter is the game could survive at a low pop without swf while it cannot survive at a high pop with fewer and fewer killers every time they drive more from the game with nerfs and the way they troll the killers.
