I realize it's a reach. But I love both Friday the 13th and Dead By Daylight so much, I want it to happen!
Kane Hodder is the actor who played Jason Voorhees the most in the series of films.

This is Kane Hodder
Kane’s a stuntman.
He plays JVoorhees in Friday the 13th parts VII, VIII, Jason Goes to Hell, and Jason X.
He is also Victor Crowley in the Hatchet films.
Victor Miller won the lawsuit. It’s currently being appealed by Sean Cunningham’s legal team, but it’s doubtful anything will come from the appeal. As of now, Miller is free to work on whatever new material or collaborative efforts he deems profit worthy.

Well,if the lawsuit is really more or less over then i'm 1000% sure we get Jason in DbD.
He's pretty much the last super iconic slasher killer that's left.

Could be "new" as in "new to him". Harder than getting around the lawsuits is coming up with Jason's powers. He's basically the trapper without bear traps... so trapper with no addons? :)

He should definitely be able to walk through pallets and breakable walls.

If you have a subscription to shudder, there have a documentary on Kane. It was an okay watch.
As for Jason in dbd, I'll believe it when I see it. Until then I won't anticipate anything. Personally I don't want Jason in here because the devs won't do him justice. Since their last chapter I have even less faith in them and I didn't think my expectations could get any lower for bhvr.

Yeah, I’m always hopeful for a positive outcome. JVoorhees is my fav of the fab 4 OG icons. Really looking forward to getting him in DBD... maybz even moreso for a new film; it’ll have been 12 years this coming February 2021 since a F13th movie was released😔

Kane Hodder is supposedly working with them on their next game.
Nothing is happening with Friday the 13th or Jason Voorhees for along time. If anything I'll expect a movie before a game

The pending litigation has been settled at least to the point where new Friday the 13th content is being sold -- there was a big deluxe Blu-Ray set that Shout Factory put out a couple months ago, and NECA has started releasing new figures again. Who knows what's impacted at this point, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will see Jason in DBD one day.

When I see a new movie come out then I'll know something can be done with good old maggot head

I could see Hodder working on a Hatchet video game before anything Friday the 13th related. I don’t think that lawsuit is going to settled anytime soon, and it has to be completely settled before anybody starts on a new F13 game. We’re talking years before we’d get to play it.

He doesn't have any lines... I doubt he'd be bought in to mo-cap?

If you are talking about a new video game, another horror franchise, DBD would not be, he does movement effects as seen in F13 the game, if it were in dead by daylight he would not have to do movement effects, also I do not think he would play Jason Voorhees, will surely be a new character for his next game, so far the only horror game and franchise would be Evil Dead, although in the Slash 'N Cast video they theorize that it will be a Halloween or Texas Massacre Video Game. So far with the lawsuit and without Larry Zerner giving us information, I don't see Jason possible for at least a while, until the pandemic is over I imagine.

He may be Trapper with teleportation instead of traps. I bet he will be over powered for the first few months in order to drive sales and then nerfed when it dies down.

Kane performed all of Jason’s movements/ kill animations through mo-cap for F13th: The Game. He will be involved in contributing the same duties on the upcoming gaming project he’s working on.

I doubt Kane Hodder will be involved in DbD (BHVR doesn't mo-cap, as far as I know, and Jason, again as far as I know, makes literally no noise so he can't provide a voice) but if the Lawsuit really is over and done with, then I think Jason has a good chance at getting in.
Though, now I wonder, how would they make his noise work in-game? I'm not familiar with the F13 lore at all, but as far as I understand Jason doesn't even grunt he's so silent. Noise is an important part of this game, for both sides. When it works, anyway.

From what he’s saying, it sounds like Kane is working on a entirely separate franchise from F13.
Could only speculate what game it could be at this point.

Nobody has to change your mind, that's your opinion. I've never seen the F13 movies, and I don't really care too, but Jason Voorhees is a pop culture icon, whether the films are good or not. He's arguably the most recognizable slasher of all time. His inclusion to DbD would be huge.
