How to Kill Your Peers

So, I've talked my Gal into trying Killer again. The horrible matchmaking and the fact she keeps getting people Smurfing killed her desire to play it last month, making her Survivor only. I told her she will get better as a Survivor if she plays Killer too, and I promised I will sit by and take over if she pulls a Bully Squad or Smurfs. She is trying to learn Mikey because she sees how much fun I have with it (although I've advised her NOT to try and do it the same way I did). She is saner than me and will play more than one Killer.

So she wants to play Scratched Mirror but doesn't have a map offering. I advise against it, as she isn't ready for a big map with that build. She says, "I see you do it all the time." I advise that is only after many hard knocks and long patience. I lose the argument with her, as I usually do. She goes in and get the Ormond using Scratched Mirror+Boyfriend's memo. Her Perks are:

Spies from the Shadows, Play With Your Food, Haunted Ground, and Corrupt Intervention

*I insisted on the PWYF and Corrupt Intervention. She doesn't have a lot of good Perk options yet. So I told her get ready to be curb-stomped so she wouldn't get triggered. I told her just learn what you can from the match. Of course, thanks to bad Survivors, she got a 4K and made my warning sound silly. This is what happened.

  1. A New in a colorful hoodie got spotted going into a locker via wall hack.
  2. She grabs the Nea from the locker.
  3. Another Survivor, already hit, tries to sab the hook before the Nea goes on the hook. My Gal downs him and hooks the Nea.
  4. This guy exploits the hook and won't come out from under it so my gal can't pick him up.
  5. He continues to refuse to come out the ENTIRE time until the Nea sac's out.
  6. Then she picks him up and hooks him.
  7. In short order, early in the game, two Survivors end up dead and she spends the rest of the game running down a 2v1.

Moral of the story? Don't be that guy under the hook.

That’s a cute story, I’m glad her first match wasn’t against anyone too stressful

also yeah, no idea why people do the hook exploit, you’re just allowing the killer to keep 2 people inactive at once.p
