Where are all these hackers coming from?
Seriously, the amount of posts that I keep seeing on the dbd subreddit (yes I use reddit, make fun of me) every day of flying killers, infinite wall hacks, 999 million hatchets spam with no cooldown, 30 second head on stuns, Sacrifice animation spam, instaheals withoit medkits, firecracker spam, "leave whenever you want button", players so fast you'll think they have 89 tokens of play with your food and triple ultra rare windstorm addons...
It's just baffling how hackers have increased so exponentially and learned to many new ways of specifically saying "screw you" to the other team. Even reporting these little rats serves for nothing as they just make a new account.
There's always going to be hackers in games, but by God these hackers are only getting worse and worse every day.

I have played this game for 1 year now and i have not experienced any hackers. :-)

The problematic thing is that the EAC system doesn't work properly.
I once stumbled upon a website where people could post every existing hack and how you can work around the EAC programm.
It appears to me that it is relatively easy to hack in this game which might be the reason for the increased amount of hackers, although, I have to say, I didn't encounter any hacker for a long time. Or at least no obvious one.

Yeah that's fair. Hackers are pretty rare for the average solo players.

I've had the game for maybe 3 years and I've only seen 2 people who were certainly hacking. I have seen many many players that were suspicious but not enough to make me think they were hacking. Like killers who hook someone and they immediately run to another survivor across the map. Despite not having BBQ or anything that would give them that information. They could have just been lucky but some matches I've seen this happen every single time they hooked someone. Like I said, suspicious but not enough to file a report.

Of course, I'm just basing myself on the post that I see. I've yet to encounter and find myself poweless against one of these indiciduals.

I described something very different in my post tho. I'll never accuse a good player of hacking, since when you see a video of a legion throwing hatchets it's easy to tell the difference

After playing 3 years I finally encountered my first one last week. Loaded into the match and a gen popped immediately. Then, i kept seeing the grass move around me and a firecracker appear on the ground. Every time the killer would down someone, boom, firecracker save from this invisible teammate.

One double BP event I had a Dwight that was ALWAYS sprinting. It was pretty damn obvious he was cheating. I played like normal going after the other 3. This was before the EGC. The gates are open and he is running circles around me. I was trapper. He stepped in a trap and I hooked him. Poetic justice /kefka laugh

I believe that one was a glitch that hit legion randomly a month or 2 ago.

Not really, there's many clips of different killers floating and throwing hatchets without cooldown like thar
