Am I a tryhard for this?
So I have corrupt, nurses, bbq and bitter murmur for an aura build huntress. I'm playing with some friends and one called me a tryhard for that build. Then I even let them heal fully for not being very good with gens at 5 gens left. And soon after 1 gen left as I'm just playing around and so they all said how its whatever and ######### so I got this one annoying guy in basement and my friend ran away so I got her like 32 meters away from basement and downed the guy going for the save and basically got 3 kills and was called garbage and a tryhard and mad because I secured 3 kills after a game where I said I didn't want. To get gen rushed so we could just play around. And in retrospect I probably should act like its a real match since every time I play this ######### happens and ita not even fun. What do you guys think was I rightfully upset? Was I a tryhard?

Well to be specific the one who called me a tryhard was my cousin who doesn't play much, but the other was the guy who is just 14 so he is cool but then he flips out and its annoying. At that point ill either mute him or tunnel amd loop him every game. Because I try my best not to be too mean, I don't do gens and ill basically run around with no game plan so they can have an easy time catching me. And frankly its bs. But the others I was with didnt do anything bad

Not tryhard enough, I use a similar build and never been called a tryhard for that, I use corrupt, bbq, bitter murmur and iron maiden.
So no, that is not tryhard in fact it is a very standard build.

What you should do is run Ruin/Undying/BBQ and Hex: Retribution, iri hatchets and purple belt and just to show them what a tryhard is.
They will never call an aura build tryhard again.

Should have equipped a try hard build with a strong killer in the next match and tell them that's how try hard looks like.

So basically, you're a tryhard for equipping an optimal build for huntress (a killer that struggles with finding survivors without specific perks) and trying to win... Not that I should be surprised that they have that mindset considering that's 85% of survivor mains these days.

You are correct. For the past year or more whenever killers play the game in any way a survivor might disagree with they jump on tryhard/ezop. As for OP you werent try harding. You were enjoying a game. Dont let a salty survivor convince you otherwise

Mate, stop worrying about being a tryhard, trying to win is the objective in every game, you play for your own fun.
That build isn't even the most optimal huntress build, it is all about having fun and getting snipes from what I'm seeing, and huntress pretty much needs slowdown because of how badly some maps can treat her, and her slow movement speed.

Lol that is not even a good build if you ask one of the best killer streamers. No matter what you do those types of survivors will always come up with something to ######### about dude. I literally had people say GEN CAMPER just lmao.

I wad planning to run oni. Only my cousin called my build tryhard but its because he doesn't play enough. The guy who was killed called me a tryhard thinking I was camping and securing kills. But next time I play in just gonna do my bbq, pop, corrupt and infectious oni and ill steamroll them. My cousin wasn't part of the group nor the extra just the dumb 14 year old and the girl who is nice. But just to prove a point ill have to steamroll her and 2 of the other normal group members to show what tryharding is. And whenever I run the killer that kid gets no mercy while everyone else does

Yeah I mean my YouTube channel has huntress montage with nice snipers from this build if you're interested. But I dont care I just was here to vent because I was angry and I like communicating with people

Nah my unwinding build as I like to call it is basically everything normal ALMOST I use bbq, corrupt and infectious and nurses with iri and infantry and I have only ever had one team almost defeat me and it was haddonfield. Of course that's just my way to unwind when I have a bad day and then ill switch back to nice killer.
