Not only I gotta wait 10 minutes for a match, I and my team is this... is it even worth to wait 10 minutes to play a 1v1?
Can't find people to SWF either because I was perma banned from the discord and they don't accept any of my appeals.

sigh That's pretty crappy man...I know how it goes. It looks like the game averaged out and went for a match that way (Killer rank 10 vs your team's average 11.75 rank).
One thing I've noticed is that when playing Survivor, the matches tend to end up like your screenshot - a random assortment of ranks high and low where the "average" will work out (though still not be very enjoyable) - but for whatever reason when I play as Killer, I consistently get matches against Survivors all much higher rank than me, and with a much tighter spread of their ranks (all rank 2-6 vs my rank 13) so even the average is way off.
I think it just comes down to timezones and # of players on either side. The game simply doesn't have enough players to provide better matching. It's 4 years old now, so all that's left are the multi-thousand-hour+ veterans vs noobies who just got the game on GamePass (me) or via holiday discounts on other platforms. Tough issue to solve I think :(

The game has set such an incredibly high bar for new players. Given the state of matchmaking it's all too common to have someone with hundreds if not thousands of hours competing against someone who just started, which is why it boggles my mind that there is still not a proper training mode. Obviously bots will not be as efficient as an actual human being, but they can still help provide a decent challenge and let newcomers get their bearings straight while they practice the basics.
It's the reason why DBD has a dwindling player base of killers. BHVR can throw as many login bonuses our way as they want, but it's not going to get newcomers to stick around.

Played killer right after that match, instant q times and got a 4k. Was definitely more relaxing and fair than the solo q experience

Got banned because one of my friends was playing huntress and i hate huntress so i said "delete yourself" and they saw that as a ######### type message so banned forever :)

For real. Me and my friend both purple ranks. We're good but nothing particularly special as neither of us can make it past rank 7. Despite that, the game keeps pairing us against red rank (usually 1s) killers with FAR more experience than us and we keep getting destroyed 5 mins into the game. It's gotten tiring and were not having fun like we used to. It's gotten so bad, we've embraced losing just so we'll derank and play against killers more on our level. We just want to have fun, not be a red ranks punching bag for the hundredth time.

Also with a Training Mode they can learn the maps and familiarize themselves with the tiles. Would be good for old players too when a new map releases. The mobile version added a training mode only 3 months after the initial release so there’s no reason for a version that released 4 years ago not to have one.

Yeah there's no excuse good enough as to why DBD still doesn't have a training mode. If the FREE TO PLAY mobile game can have one, there's no reason for the main game to not have one either.

i doubt those were newcomers it's possible but i doubt it most new comers don't know how to dc. I was in 1-2 months before i was taught how to do it. i'd say they were people that'd de-ranked due to rank reset. and they are the type to not like the killer or map and i'm gonna dip! yea it sucks but i'm tired of trying to be nice about it when it affects my game just as much.
