Hackers in dbd
With the increasing amount of hackers in dbd lately, do we need to consider there might be hackers playing with minor hacks but not big enough to notice and report in matches? Or does the game detect that in the first place?

I just had a hacker a few days back when I played as pig. It was an Elodie that hooked herself, had the fastest medkit in the world, fastest toolbox in the world, and had sprint burst at tier 15. Those kind of people are boosted af. Proves how BHVR’s “anti-cheat” system isn’t good and they need to fix it ASAP.

If you play DBD a lot, you see a couple obvious hackers per week. I´m pretty sure there are plenty more who do so in a more subtle way, like slight movementspeed increases or stronger hacks where the Killer can´t see it.
EAC does literally nothing against hackers apparently, so they should improve their protection. Also, they should add an auto replay feature for suspected hacker games instead of relying 100% on witness recordings to do anything.

The fact that their CS team doesn't have the ability to access match replays to handle reports still blows my mind.

Report them in-game, head over to dbd support and file an additional support ticket there under "Additional Player Report Information". Make sure to have all of their details including Steam64ID/Username

I've had this game for over 3 years and I might have run into 2 people who were certainly hacking. I have seen a lot of questionable things but not enough to justify submitting a report. I'm not saying DBD has no hackers but IMO majority of the reports made are either
A: people who don't understand the game and think someone is hacking
or
B: A sore loser who is salty.
