Which killers would you rank from most to least sypothatic?
Im interasted in hearing everyones thoughts on who in the killer cast has the most to least sypothatic backstory. Your thoughts?

This topic comes upsomewhat often. It usually just devolves into a talk about spirit's balancing issues haha.
Someone is going to bring up spirit's back story; and how tragic it was for her.
Someone is gonna talk about how much they like playing her.
Someone is going to reply to that with a "but she's just _____"
and it's going to snowball from that haha.

According to urban dictionary sypo means a gangster that belongs in the streets. So maybe he's asking which killer is the most gangster?

Most is probably The Hag, least is The Clown.

Spirit, Hag, Wraith, Billy, Nurse and The Twins were all victims. Same could be said for Plague and Huntress. Even Blight isn't inherently evil.
A lot of people also say Suzie of The Legion is a victim, and her lore hints at a bad family life, but she literally chased someone down, stabbed him, stole his wallet and left them to bleed out. Crying while commiting group murder doesn't erase that.

My baby Rin had it the worst. Not only did she get killed by her own father, but also witness her father kill her mother. She's been threw so much hell yet people still ######### on her. Both of those reasons makes her the only correct answer for this question.

Hag was literally kept captive and ate off of for awhile, she got to witness other victim's meet their end while she was helpless and doomed to the same fate. Her backstory is pretty messed up.
But the saddest is most certainly the Twins. Since their birth they were hunted and on the run. They never got a normal life and had to live their life in fear. Then their mother is literally burned alive in front of them as they are forced to watch. Then they get taken by the cult and experimented on. Victor ends up giving his life in the process of their escape and his sister never moves on from him. She lives the rest of her life alone and miserable till malnourishment and the cold slowly kill her. Then when she finally finds some sort of peace, the entity uses Victor to drag her into it's trap where she and Victor are lashing out and killing the people they think are hunting them when it's quite the opposite now.
Twins makes Spirit look like a children's story.

All of Legion's members are dicks tbh..Most the other killers are hopeless, dead and or dying..Or in a sense mind controlled (A deathslinger theory people have).
Legion is up there with the Doctor as "Big jerk who became bigger jerk"...That and well, mugging people and pumping up by playing murder music as you stab people is not very..nice.

Most evil, Freddy. He's a child molester that actually comes back to murder the children he molested because their parents did frontier justice on him. He's the worst.

Honestly, it's Joey. He seems like a good kid that got caught up the the wrong crowd. He's shown to be reluctant to kill people in the Legion's cutscene from the archives and his cosmetics hint at him being a troubled but well meaning person.
"The holidays always brought up the worst in him. To avoid the fake Christmas cheer with his single mom, he'd leave the house and cause trouble."
"The blade used by Joey as he attempted to cut himself free from the abomination Legion had become. Once he lost his control over Frank’s arm, his fate was set."

I'd say Spirit and the Twins take #1 spot.
A lot of people say Hag and while her backstory is awful, according to the lore she was dabbling in witchcraft / magic and was warned against doing so as it would bring bad luck. And look what happened to her :|
As for least sympathetic towards.. Clown, Myers, Freddy and Doctor.
They just seem like worse than monsters.

Least would be clown because he knew what he was doing was wrong but he enjoyed it so he didn’t care
kinda sympathetic towards slinger since he was bullied as a child and had his life’s work taken away from him

Wraith, hillbilly, nurse, hag, huntress, spirit, twins. Those are the only killers that I think are even supposed to be sympathized with.

Least sympathetic is Mikey. Drained of any kind of emotions. A blank slate of pure evil since he was 6 years old.
Most sympathetic I think is the Hag. Just an innocent girl held captive for weeks and slowly eaten by cannibals, then left to rot while chained to a wall.
