What would you guys think of a shining chapter?
I think seeing the overlook hotel or the hedge maze in dbd would be awesome.

I'm not sure yet, but killer would probably be Jack and survivor is Danny. Both characters perks are probably gonna be based around the shine.

They would have to age Danny up quite a bit. I think every Survivor is 18+ in order to avoid the idea of hurting children.
As for Jacks power, my guess is it would be "Drunk Abusive Father Stuff".

I do not think it would translate well into DbD. Just my opinion though.

I don't think that "normal" licensed killers fit in well to dbd. Jack torrance, Norman bates, Hannibal lecter, etc. The entity would have to give them some power, its silly, I cannot believe any license would entertain the idea.

Well other licensed killers were also broken down to DbD mechanics or powered up.
Better words would be: they were translated to DbD mechanics and that is very well possible for normal killers.
also see GhostFace, Pig (Amanda) and Michael Myers. Then also take Legion in consideration. BHVR have shown they are able to create fitting and interesting powers.

Michael is not a normal human by any means. But as for the other two I guess my point is those killers have a mask, making them not seem really human, for the life of me I cannot picture jack torrance running around trying to axe people to death and hanging them on hooks, it seems ridiculous to me.

I would be super excited for one but it would have to be done right, Kubrick adaptation, no reference to the sequel, and an interesting power that makes sense and fits his character. He would be on the shorter side, probably around legion height because he's hunched over. Obviously he would have the axe, and he would be around 110%, preferably even slower if the devs were comfortable with it, and then a strong power to compensate. What that would be I have no idea, so many people throw around the breaking pallets and walls faster thing but I honestly think that takes away from the very slow and suspenseful nature of the end of the film. Would love to have him, it's just a license that they would have to handle very carefully.

Jason has to have a power that characterizes him in the movies, maybe if they introduce him in the middle of his demand it would be a miracle or a wish come true, but the Jason I want to see is the one from part 4 or part 6 or Freddy vs Jason, all their cosmetics and movie versions could be in the store, including Uber Jason and Retro Jason, their survivors must be Tommy Jarvis and Tina Shepard, something similar to the Stranger Things chapter, the map may be the classic Camp Crystal Lake, but to save trouble would be convenient Camp Forest Green, The Lazarus Yacht, Higgins Haven, among many.

Agree with @Jarol regarding his power and completely agree that Tommy and Tina have to be the survivors. If not, then Clay and Whitney from F13 2009 Also, the map take was spot on, though I’d push for multiple maps (at least 3... 5 would be insanely awesome!). Prefer the look and feel of the reboot’s Crystal Lake as a setting, also Forest Green, Lazarus would be cool, Higgins Haven with the barn, for sure. So many fantastic environments to choose from!
Cosmetically, I personally want all of them!

Totally agree, BE are able to create fitting and interesting powers.
The ultimate difference in this instance is that Ghostface, Pig (EDIT: Pig wasn’t really a slasher:) and Myers were all established slashers who fit the multi (or even mass) murder slasher angle of DBD. MM and GF are obvious with their style, and BE didn’t have to do much adapting to incorporate unique stealthy, 1 hit powers with them. Pig, in the same vein, had the reverse bear trap/ stalk angle already working for her, even though she wasn’t really a slasher, she did kill.
The biggest differentiator is the killing. Ghostface killed 32 people over 4 movies. Myers’ death count totals 121, while Amanda killed 5 and attempted a 6th but failed.
Jack Torrance killed 1 person.
He was just a man; an author, who became deeply disturbed while writing himself into his own madness.
Not sure what devs would do to justifiably fit him into the game, or why for that matter, as he really seemingly doesn’t wholesomely fit into the game, as is. Just imo though.
Overlook with outside grounds and hedge maze would be a incredible map, I’d love that!

5 variants of Camp Crystal Lake would be great, like Springwood, more so if it was the same as in the remake, with tall trees, a lot of grass, abandoned cabins and a lake in the middle of the map perhaps. It would be a perfect forest map.

The overlook hotel would work as a map. the killer/survivor would not. If you go the Shining route it would have to be Wendy or Dick, because they're the only adults. If you go the Dr. Sleep route, You could have adult Danny but Jack would be dead. so he couldn't be a killer.
I've already said my Piece on F13 so All I'm going to add to that is The Lawsuit kills everything.

I wouldn't know what the fan's of Friday the 13th want as a chapter.I remember you're post's which tailored what a Friday chapter should be.It will be the biggest licenses if they get him and it has to be done right,If the lawsuit ends,Jason definitely could come to the game.The new Evil Dead game obviously has Ash in it,Bill is in Dying Light as a skin,so maybe Jason will exist one day, but it has to be right.

Variations of CL would be great; also would be easier on the devs; though I’d actually prefer Crystal Lake, Lazarus and Higgens as 3 separate maps... I’m just elated if we actually get JV in the game.

Honestly, I do hope somehow someway they can get Jason. I mean, they have literally all the other big ones, if they get Jason their collection will be complete.
I am sure they want him too, but that is a fight that is decided by lawyers and license holders somewhere; not the devs =(
Myself personally, I want pumpkinhead. I feel he would fit in the game SO well with hex perks too.

Jason, Pumpkinhead, Chucky, Candyman, Pinhead, Pennywise, Alien, among many, are the most missing in his long collection of murderers, I will not talk about Jeepers Creepers since their director is a disgusting pedophile, but having the majority of slasher assassins, the game would be classified as the best slasher horror game that has ever existed, having recognized and famous assassins within the entity's kingdom, also the message that the devs sent talking about what will come later, makes me think and hope that such killers can come, the game with many survivors and killers would be as popular as League of Legends, where they have many characters.

Also Leatherface and Jigsaw masks in Call of duty, Jason, Freddy, Leatherface, Alien and Predator in the Mortal Kombat saga, Jason's possibility in DBD is high thanks to his cooperations and his fame, but the demand holds him until the moment. But in itself, its power must be characteristic and OP, Destruction, Teleportation and Stealth, Multiple change of weapons and knife thrower, would be what characterizes it but something moderate also for the survivor side.

Same dude the art team are always spot on with the licenses,so I know Jason will look dope.
Mathieu Cote says we have some Stars coming that could be two licenses chapter's are a Resident evil chapter.
