Doc and Madness 3
I love playing as doc but I rarely do because when I play against him, I know how utterly annoying it is to be stuck in Madness 3. I’ve spent matches stuck in it the entire time do to being chased consistently and constantly. Can we at least agree to tone it down while slugged or getting hooked?

I agree, getting hooked while in tier 3 madness should drop you back down to tier 1 or two.

I’m more referring to toning down the annoying part of all the loud ass whispers and the screen distortions. The time wasting aspect is fine. After a minute or two it’s just too much and I’m considering dying just to shut it all up.

Lol. I love playing Doc like I said. He’s in my top three. I just don’t want to feel like suicide as a viable option in games against him when I’m being constantly chased and can’t shut the madness up. when I’m screaming at the screams, it’s reached that point. lol.

I think you should go down 1 madness tier (can’t go below Madness 1) when you’re unhooked. Like Freddy, who works in a similar way to slow down the game, a Survivor should have the chance to escape the situation when unhooked and not be penalized for not “snapping out of it” when they decided to move from the hook once rescued.

I get this but what are you supposed to do when you can't get away from him and get a chance to snap out of it or when you try to, he finds you and knocks you out of it before you can snap out of it T^T (Seriously wondering as I'm still semi new and you offer the best insights from killer perspective!)
One things for certain I'll be very happy when I get calm spirit teachable bcuz I'm really sick of doc and infectious fright lately like I actually would rather bring calm spirit just to be on the safe side in these niche scenarios lol

Either not enough people find them as annoying as you do to change them or they are intended. The whispers were added in a future patch and I think the screen distortions were there from the beginning. I don't see them being removed anytime soon. I'm honestly surprised they're still here, I would've expected a lot more people to find them annoying.

If they remove things because people find them annoying, Dead Hard, DS and Unbreakable wouldn't exist. Same with NOED, Ruin and Undying.
"Annoying" and "Boring" are just synonymous for "requires too much effort" a lot of the time.

Doc is fine. Just Madness 3’s sound levels for survivor side and the loud mess when you’re slugged on the ground or in a position where you cannot end it. It’s just not needed. I don’t see a reason why survivors cannot work on it while dying on the ground.
