Killer just isn't fun anymore
I'm moreso just writing this to scream into the abyss than anything else, but I'm just not having fun with killer anymore. I've found out that every game I play is either a complete stomp or unbearably toxic. I'm sitting at rank 8 right now, but I'm sure I could be higher if I actually wanted to put myself through it enough. It seems every game I go into, every survivor is a higher rank than me, with many of them being red ranks, but it's always the same. I always either kill all of them before a single generator gets done, or it's a SWF who teabags after pallet stuns, all of them go for flashlight saves, they all run DS and Iron Will, it's just frustrating. Why can't I have an actual match where I get a challenge without toxicity, or people who don't run the same six meta perks? I'm thinking about quitting killer all together if this keeps up.

Yeah... I feel you. That kind of stuff gets annoying fast. I'm taking a break from the game for awhile. Just got back up to rank 1 again playing clown and demo, but it's just not fun to do anymore. Either get rainbow rank matchmaking and stomp everyone into the dirt, or it's rank 1-2 SWF popping all 5 gens in 5 minutes or less regardless of how many slowdown perks are brought. If every survivor knows how to loop and doesn't care about dropping every pallet, it feels like there just isn't enough time. And then it's every other match with flashlight clickies and t-bags
At the end of the day, playing this game just puts me in a bad ######### mood. Consistently

I have my crossplay turned on, turning it off on PC is asking for hour long queues. I turned it off for one match and didn't find a game after 30 minutes, so I turned it back on. Either way, people are toxic. I've seen toxic crossplay people who teabag and click their flashlights, and I've seen toxic PC players who just tell you to off yourself in post-game chat.

Some survivor's like to be annoying and try to make you have a bad game, some survivor's know that can mess with the killer and know how to run the tiles to do so.When you think you're going to have these matches best to prep you're self mentally for bullys, also when in doubt just blame Behaviour 9/10 it's their fault lol

Pick a low tier killer, stop worrying about winning ever, and just chill. Once you get the concern of "Victory' out of the way, things become much more fun.
If you see flashlights take infectious or lightborn or something "Yeah but X meta perk is so much better and franklins can-" yeah yeah, but I mean you can play with literally no perks sometimes and do okay; if taking a perk stops you from something that frustrates you SO much you don't want to play- why not take it?
I used to when learning, I don't need it really much anymore, but things like that can make the role less over whelming for you if you've been having a hard time.

I find that it's more fun in small doses. I play 2-3 matches a week and I have no complaints. I avoid Friday and Saturday nights as killer at all costs, too many swfs who focus on trying to bully me rather than playing normally. Devs refuse to balance around them, I refuse to play them.

The matchmaking is what is killing it for me. I really hope they bring back the MMR soon. My games were much better when it was active.
Now I'm rank 10 and see groups of all red constantly. I played 7 matches in the last 2 days and 5 of them were against all reds and a few purples. I don't even wait for a second to get a match. The game just throws me to red ranks immediately.
And I've never seen it the other way. Plenty of games with rank 2 survivors (8 point difference in rank) but never have I had a game as rank 10 vs a bunch of rank 18's!
I would rather wait a minute or two for a fair match than get thrown to the wolves immediately.

I'm having the exact same issues. I had a game earlier against all sub-rank 5 people with an instant queue. Like make me wait a couple minutes for people at my rank, please. I would much rather wait than have a complete wash of a game. On the flip side, I'm also a rank 8 survivor, and I get similar queue times, but the killers are always below rank 10. What gives? Why are they instant queues but always so unfair?

It's not exactly the winning aspect that I'm focused on, it's more when people decide to belittle you because they believe themselves to be so much better. I can take a loss, I play team-based games all the time. I'm not good at taking people calling me slurs and telling me how I should kill myself because they're so much better. What's worse is that reporting for toxicity doesn't seem to do anything. The devs don't report how many accounts they ban for sportsmanship, and there's seemingly no punishment given for toxicity, so why even bother?

You should turn end game chat off or grow thicker skin,do you know what my problem is, people start the ######### then when, I finish it they report me.Thats low

So the solution to people telling me to kill myself is to either not look at it or just take it? Instead of punishing the people who say it? Are you secretly one of the dev's in disguise because that's not a solution at all...

I know there's rule's in place such as harassment etc. That guy sat there and practiced a mechanic so in the end game chat he could say that to you. You must realize this you shouldn't let things like that effect you're overall happiness with the game.
