Console player unsure of cross play
I have been playing with cross play on and as killer have been seeing a lot more hackers in the game than before. It's always the survivors who run faster than me even with bloodlust 3. It's getting annoying and I'm not sure what to do other than disable cross play. Have y'all been experiencing this as well?

Nope, so far I've only faced 2 hackers since I moved to pc last year, are you sure they were hacking? Any video evidence? Because I've seen killers loop way too open against survivors with hope then telling them that they are hacking.

The good thing about being a (console-) killer is you can disable crossplay and your queues will still be instant as long as you're on decent ranks.
So if you feel like there's too many hackers at the moment just disable crossplay for a while until you feel comfortable enough to enable it again.

Yeah, I know they're hacking, I'm not dumb. I took video evidence of one instance since I'm not always recording but that might have to change.

I have experienced a few hackers, but admittedly it has been rare. You can turn cross-play off and thereby only be matched with people on your specific system. While it can make a world of difference playing with or against another player on another console if you are also on a console, cross-play does help to shorten the wait time.
I just wish those of us playing on console could exclude PC. Not saying you can't be good with a controller, but it's pretty apparent when someone's using a mouse and keyboard. A joystick just can't hold a candle to the accuracy of a mouse.

Yeah Huntress is one of the main killers that I see hackers use the most. The other night I played with a group of friends and she was throwing hatchets that were going straight through solid objects: trees, walls, etc. We really wanted to DC, but that just rewards the hacker.

I’ve experienced some strange things.
Crossplay has been turned off for over a month now, and I don’t intend on turning it back on. Prefer all console gaming.
Wait times aren’t any different for me.
The amount off time it takes to get a lobby depends on what time of day/evening you play in your region.

The thing you mentioned about flashlights was probably some kind of macro those pc players used to click their flashlight extremely fast
