Has Leatherface been nerfed or why is he so slow with the chainsaw?
Yesterday I played with it with the addons "Award-winning Chilli" and "Carburettor Tuning Guide" (addons with which I have played several times and it has been great), it was at an incredibly slow speed, as if it literally had no additional speed with the chainsaw and simply run at 4.6 (115%) speed. Literally Leatherface before the rework was better xD.
I haven't tested if it happens with other addons or without them because I haven't played it again (I don't feel like losing another game). I hope it's a bug, because it's too much for a nerf.

You don't know what the "Award-winning Chilli" and "Carburettor Tuning Guide" addons do, right?
It just, like I said, feels extremely slow when going with the chainsaw (like it's 4.4 / 4.6 speed). If you can play a game with Leatherface, give it a try.

Carburetor Tuning Guide now decreases his speed when he's using his Chainsaw that's why. I was going to comment "I played him the other day and he was fine" then I read the add-ons you used.

Yes, and it's working fine for me- that's why I can catch a sprint burster who is moving at 6.0 m/s even though it's technically just a teeny tiny bit slower than that; because of the charges.
If I was moving at 4.6 no way in hell would that be remotely possible. Go check those addons you are using, they slow you down by a lot.

What's Leathreface's top movement speed? According to the wiki, Carburetor Tuning Guide decreases Leatherface's speed while in the dash by "-4.35%" which I understand is not a lot, but could be why he feels slower unless it's bugged.

With those addons yes, but otherwise it can be it's like 5.30 m/s at peak so the duration of it with charges will let you outrun their sprint burst.
You are absolutely correct with the addons, I only just 'registered' that as well haha.

But I remember that the speed reduction in that addon has been going on since the rework, it reduces the speed by 4.35%, and Leatherface reaches 132.25% speed, which leaves us with a speed of 127.25%, but, like I said before, yesterday I felt that I was going excessively slow, as if I was going at a speed of 115% (4.6) using the chainsaw. Probably with two tokens in Play with Your Food you were going faster than with the chainsaw.
I don't know if it is a bug in the addon or what happens, but you are really slow with these addons (I have played them several times and this did not happen, I assure you). In this latest version there were many bugs that affected several killers, could that be?

Atm his first charge is bugged. That's a bug and it is already acknowledged by the developers. During the first charge Bubba feels incredibly slow, but then he regains his normal speed.

i didn't knew that Carburetor addon reduces Bubba's chainsaw speed. The point is still stands, though: His first charge is bugged.

Good thing, I was starting to worry that I was going crazy. I've played this combination several times and this slow going has never occurred to me 😂.

I never heard of that either, I've been playing him all day yesterday and never noticed a thing tbh.
If the first charge is bugged though, he shouldn't be moving at 4.6 movement speed the whole time- however with those addons on TOP of that, yeah you are gonna feel pretty slow.

Carburetor tuning guide is bugged right now. I made a post with a similar question. Its supposed to give you a big speed boost, but right now it slows you down. I'm not touching that add on if i can help it, I got laughably stomped when i tried it out recently.

I am pretty damn sure that it even reads on the description that it slightly slows you down. It seems to be completely intentional but I sure didn't see anything on patch notes about it being changed

Yes, it does say it decreases the chainsaw sweep movement speed. But that's for the base speed. You're supposed to get a big initial speed boost when you first use it and consume all dash charges. Its supposed to work like "big initial dash and then you're barely faster than survs for the rest of the long dash"

Otherwise there is literally no good aspect of it. You have less control and it slows your base chainsaw speed down. Not what an iri add on is supposed to do

I mean they COULD be right. I'm not running into a lot of Sprint Bursts lately but some people seem to enjoy balanced landing and last time I tried to outrun a Balanced Landing it looked like this:
If you look closely you will notice the survivor even got stuck on the rock for a brief moment AND I ran yellow chilli and timed all charges perfectly yet I didn't even get close.
I'm still not sure, though - so I would like to see a source anyways.

Additionally, the Carburetor tuning guide just makes it even worse but more noticeable (?) if that's the right word to use. The first charge without any addons is bugged, too.
It's acknowledged by the developers so that's a good thing, i guess.

Carburator tuning guide is bugged IIRC. Unless it's not, and you're just talking about normal speed. Which, it is slower than base chainsaw.

That is exactly what happened to me! With that combination of addons, it was incredibly slow, so I'm glad that it happened to Otz too so that the developers noticed xD

Tunning Guide is bugged. Your movement speed is maybe 90-95% when Chainsaw Sweep begin (slower than survivor)... Later your movement is increase but that addon is worse than Bubba without addons...
