Any killer can camp and tunnel. Removing Bubba would not solve anything.

I don't think he should be removed, but I do tend to think the two Chainsaw wielding maniacs that have Insta-Down all game should be slower. :)

How about we delete Killer all together and turn this game into a true Gen sim. That would completely eliminate camping and tunneling /s

It would be better to pity these players then scold them. Just because they play in a manner you seem "Boring" or "Toxic" dosent mean the character needs thd boot

They actually nerfed him last year. Now it's much harder to facecamp with him since you can't 99% your chainsaw permanently anymore. So now his facecamping can be countered the same way as facecamping from any other killer. And he has nothing to help him tunneling, because nobody can counter DS in this game.

Blight, Nurse, Deathslinger and Pyramid Head all couldn't care less about DS and they'll usually just eat it and down the survivor in the next 10 seconds. Or in PH's case, send them to a cage.
And you still can't rescue a survivor from a facecamping Leatherface unless the killer messes up really hard.

You just rush the hook with your mates on comms, and approach from both directions. Since he can't 99 his chainsaw, he will have to fill the bar first. While he is revving his saw, you can complete the animation of the unhook, even if you get hit while at it. And if he is revving, you just wait for his tantrum bar to fill, and then he will be unable to do anything for the next several seconds. At worst he will somehow down both the unhooked and the saver, but the unhooked one has his 60 seconds of immortality with him, so it's the usual trade you can do with every other camping killer. You can actually do the same without comms, it just takes two survivors to approach the hook, so that if he starts chasing you, the other one can do the unhook.

Its the player, not the character. Like not every Nea is toxic and not every Meg is a bad player. Its always the guy controlling the character and not every Bubba is facecamping with Insidious. In fact, I have not seen a camping Bubba for so long, even long before his Rework.

Any killer has the ability to camp/tunnel, it's the player not the character. And it's not against the game rules.
A killer who hard camps the first hooked person should effectively lose the match anyway, it's down to the survivors going in for risky saves and not focusing on gens that leads the players to pip in these situations. Whilst I appreciate it's not fun to just focus on the gens, it really is the only way unless you are sure of making a save and know the rest of the team is doing the remaining gens.

In Bubba's case there's the issue that his power (even compared to Leatherface-Proxy Hillbilly) is very easily exploitable and rewards camping and tunneling.
For other killers (billy included) hardcamping often does lead to a loss. But Bubba? The way his chainsaw works etc allows him to camp people to second state, go looking for other survivors and be back knocking down a freshly unhooked survivor and the unhooker even if they are one or two tiles apart.
To the point where some people say that the best counterplay against him is 'give up' (they phrase it differently, but it boils down to 'give up').
If a killer's counterplay is to give up and abandon all hope ye who hearest the chainsaw then something went wrong.
All it would need would be taking away the ability to knock down more than one survivor in one attack. Then the camping would probably cease (not stop, but cease) because it wouldn't be rewarded anymore.

Ever since the nerf I haven't had many leaterfaces camping but before that I would've just dc'd if it was leatherface. Awesome that they added a new camper that camps even harder, the twins.

Right now I find the Twins far more notorious for camping than Bubba.

If one player is on the hook and he is camping don't have the other three run in at the same time for the save, that is literally what he wants you to do since he can one shot multiple people in close proximity. Just finish Gens, leave and move on.
