Does NOT mean unhook everyone right in the Killers face...you're just asking for that person to be tunneled out. The perk was designed as an anti-camping measure, not 'farm your teammates'.

It doesn't even work on the chad insidious camper, so it most certainly is designed for farming. Why do you think it depends on the terror radius instead of the actual distance to the killer?

@Trashmaster No, it isn't. Anyone using Insidious is usually gonna camp anyway. I made this thread as a PSA to Survivors, not for you to make dumb, trolly comments.

If you have BT and still wait for the killer to leave, it means you just waste your perk slot (and some time on waiting as well). It's like healing before popping the last gen when you have adrenaline.

@Junylar Most Killers have a 32m TR, that's plenty of breathing room to proc BT and keep everyone safe...having more Survivors makes it easier to get gens done.

I agree with OP. BT is more for dangerous situations. If I have BT and I have a choise to save in terror or wait couple of seconds for killer go further, I will wait.

Farming in front of killer's face is rude both to killer and to survivor you saving. Your task is to waste killer's time, but you just exchange hooks without any good reason.

This is why I bring BT and We'll Make It.

Killer ain't leaving? BT. Killer running off? Heal.

What you really need to bring is Diversion. If you crouch in front of the killer and pebble him, he's legally obligated to let you unhook safely.

It depends. Sometimes the smart move is to save immediately, especially if your both strong loopers and you know the other two are on gens, and one of you is going to go hop on a gen. Or, it’s endgame, you have adrenaline and bt and you run in for the save, get hit, adrenaline pops and you get they save (have done this many times in solo queue, working on a gen with someone and signaling for them to stop, pointing at the survivor and then pointing back at the gen).

I agree though, there are scenarios where people hook swap way too early to the detriment of the team.
