You don't want me to "get good"
The next time someone has the guts in post-game chat to call me a garbage killer who needs to get good, I'm gonna do exactly what I did tonight: pick up the Twins and slug everyone in the next match. I like to call it a revenge match. You may say "but those survivors didn't do anything to you!" You can't fault me for this because there is no rematch button, so it must be a new set of survivors I face, and also it's part of the game and I can play that way if I want. If other people get to use those excuses, so do I. So I'm gonna get good, or "do better" you might call it. I'm gonna slug for the 4, proxy the hook, maybe make someone DC in the process, and I don't care if I depip or black pip because I WON. That's what "getting good" looks like, so be careful what you wish for.

dont listen to the endgame chat. do whatever you want as long as you have fun, even if its anti-fun for survivors.
the guys that tell you to "geed good" wont tell you that they just lost the last 10 games and dc 2 of them. as soon as they have the chance, they attack the first killer they escaped..
you can win 100 games in a row, the 101 game you lose and people might bully you. so just dont care.

That's one of the side effects of survivors always accusing killers of camping, tunneling, etc.
The killers that don't do those things will eventually say ######### it and start doing what they get called all the time. Because they'll get called out anyway.

The real question is did you feel happy and relaxed after that punishment game? I think you still lose if the answer is no. Don't let other people crawl under your skin like that.
I have gotten gg ez after I killed them all because they were so happy about the flashlight save. Makes me laugh. I had a SWF a few days ago who went EEEZZZZ etc. I just send back; I agree you had easy mode <3 Even salty chat can be funny you know. Ended with a few jokes and we all moved on.
If you can't chill please close endgame chat and don't take it out on the next group. Play how you want but don't kill your own fun in the process.

Usually I just cooldown by playing civilization. Mostly because the devs recommended playing that over their own game.

Most of the time I get called a garbage killer, it's usually by a person I killed that match. So I just like to point out they lost to garbage which makes them worse than garbage.

So if survivors in a swf play non meta perks one game and get destroyed should they all run DS and Unbreakable the next?

Do it if that's the strategy you want to take to win. Most vocal survivors tunnel gens and have DS, UB, BT, exc. all the time and call anything they don't like toxic and act like it should be removed from the game just because its "unfun" or "boring".
It goes both ways, if they want fun games they need to be willing to give fun games. Nothing mentioned is "toxic" inherently unless you make it so. Unbalanced maybe, but that's another conversation.
Don't pay attention to the endgame chat, people just use it to ego boost and be actually toxic the vast majority of the time.

Early days when I started to become Killer main after over half a year a Survivor main. I got toxic swf that made me stop playing for a few day. Later I do put top tier add-on and get revenge on Survivors if the previous Survivor being toxic.
I just over come it now. The later survivors have nothing to do with previous one.
so be careful what you wish for.
Previous survivors team wished it, not the later. If you want to get revenge, save their names in a list. And check name every survivors every match later. Tunneling, camping, mori, whatever it takes.
1 of 4 survivors put toxic on you. You put toxic on other 4 people who may just play for fun and then they cross you in a match. You just spread toxic 4 times greater than the toxic survivor.

People who say stuff like this don't want you to get good. They want you to continue to have poor matches so they can trash-talk you. These are the same people who, when faced with an actual good killer, yell at the killer player for using "crutch perks" or doing whatever thing they think is cheap or unfair.
They're sore winners, and sore losers. Report them post-game for toxic chat.

I know I'm late to this party, but why wouldn't you already be using the Twins to slug everyone? Why would you need someone to be obnoxious to you before you give 100%? I'm not being sarcastic or snarky; I'm pointing out a flaw in your logic. If you are playing Killer, you should already be giving the toughest, best game you can.
As to the post game chat, why bother reading it at all? If it is going to tilt you just hit continue or upgrade the second the match ends and go on to the next one. Or you can write down the names of those you see in the end chat that you don't like, used hacks, foul language, or just rubbed you the wrong way. Keep that little list of shame next to you when you play. Then, when one of those names shows up in the Lobby, you can decide to leave or vent your frustrations however you like. Your opponents will eventually cycle back around.

My thoughts exactly. These baby survs act like they've never lost a match. On console it's harder not to listen though because you get a notification on your screen, and I don't want to just turn mine off.

Yeah, and nothing happened since I posted that. After all these years, not a peep from the devs to address toxicity. Not even a "we don't approve of this". So eventually I said ######### it and dropped the morality argument. It's an honor system that nobody plays by, so why should I?
