you cannot say a killer is overperforming
If red ranks keep getting love tier red or not even red and have a broken matchmaking.
Is MMR ever making a return or this concept it dead and burried?

I played 5 survivor games last night, all pretty well matched as far as ranks go.
I then played 4 games as Killer and 3/4 of them were horribly mis-matched.
This is something I consistently see happen when I play - Survivor matches overall pretty well matched, yet when I play Killer it's almost all bad matchups. Not sure why this happens, it really doesn't make sense, right? I'm rank 14 as Survivor, and 12 as Killer.

When MMR actually works people who are good at the game will start to hate it. On paper MMR sounds good but if it's actually accurate it makes games even more predictable, stale and boring.

BHVR has already intervened in the outcome of games. I remember playing DBD in 2018/2019 and thinking “did someone play an offering? That’s weird” when one survivor spawned near me. Now, you queue into a match with all 4 people spawned in a dead zone and the killer 5 seconds away.
id love to see stats for “time to first hook” when 4 survivors spawn in a corner vs. 4 survivors spread out. This is seemingly done to to push certain games in the favor of killers. I wonder further if this is done more commonly after losing X number of matches (as killer) or winning X number of matches (as survivor)

Do you really think that? That would be too much work and makes no sense.
When they really want to make it easier for losing killer they could just give them bad player. Its easier done and nobody would think its unusual with the current bad matchmaking.
When they really had so detailed insight about the impact of spawning positions and tile balance, they wouldnt struggle so hard with balance for every skill level.
