Wait... if Afterpiece Antidote increases speed by 10% of CURRENT movement speed...
Does this mean if Antidote Clouds are spaced close enough together, Clown could get faster and faster?

You're asking this because you know it would be OP. We really won't know until after the PTB. But my guess is "Entity Realm, no"

What happens if a survivor is in a meth cloud the moment SB, Lithe or BL activate? Won't that just give them an even greater distance on the Clown? This power change sounds like it has too many draw backs.

Asking more because it would be an oversight. They did say 10% of current movement speed, and not the 10% of base 4m afterall.

I don't think the status effect will stack. Hindered doesn't, after all.

Why would a Clown player do that to a survivor they suspect has one of those perks though?

Imagine the clown with the new antidote and Play with your food.
4 -
Well not on purpose but it could happen by accident. I'm just saying it sounds kinda dumb to design a killer power that can actually hurt your objective.
3 -
True, but that only reduces survivor movement speed by 15% of the base 4m movement speed. Meaning they’re reduced by 0.6m a second. If a tonic is thrown at a survivor and they immediately use Sprint Burst, their Sprint Burst is still only reduced by 0.6m a second.

I'm going to take a guess and say it would just lengthen the amount of time you're speed is increased but not actually increase it more.

Im calling it now, theres gonna be a bug that when survivors get hit by antidote cloud while under the affects of any speed boost buff itll do something stupid like double the speed boost or make it last indefinitely or something

The weirdest part to me is the fact that it "cures all debuffs"... Imagine if it came out broken and affected exhaustion

I’m almost certain it only removes Intoxication (hindered, blurred vision, coughing).
BUT seeing as that only lasts 2 seconds outside of a tonic gas AoE, there’d need to be an Antidote Cloud close enough to happen.
2 -
My guess is maybe... but if the clouds mix at all they count as the same cloud so it would be really hard to pull off at any loop and mainly for map mobility

If it did it would never go live.

Imagine if you had pwyf along with high bloodlust when you get your tonic boost. Curious if that’ll stack. Might be why they wanted to test removing bloodlust to begin with, knowing their plans for clown.

I think that will be the case. I don't see the tonic stacking but I do see it stacking with other speed modifiers. At least during the PTB.

The Twins did.
Your point?

None if the below is true I'm stupid and bad at math.
While survivors would gain extra speed the Clown would gain the same amount of speed, which would mean that distance isn't gained.

How would you even manage to mess up that badly though as clown? I don‘t feel like that would become a problem as long as you have even just a tad of experience with Clown or aren‘t actively trying to help survivors.

Actually that’s incorrect.
A 10% increase of survivor movement speed takes them from 4m per second to 4.4m per second, but a 10% increase of Clown’s movement speed jumps from 4.6m per second to 5.06m per second.
So Clown goes from being 0.6m a second faster to 0.66m a second faster. It’s only a minor difference, but Clown will nevertheless be slightly faster than usual to the survivor if both are affected by Antidote.

Because its a detriment to survivors.

When the Devs talk percentages of movement speed, it's typically based around 4 m/s being 100% speed.
So survivors would become 110% speed, 4.4 m/s (Huntress, Hag)
Normal speed killers (115%) would become 125% speed, 5 m/s.
This would be an additive effect instead of a multiplier effect. Like how PWYF adds 5% speed, you get 120% (4.8 m/s) instead of 120.75% (4.83 m/s).

The wording is "increased by 10% and persists for a few seconds after" so I imagine it doesn't stack with itself; but it would with something external such as PWYF.

So it's basically like having BloodLust 1 active?

Typically, but they made a point of saying it’s 10% of the players current movement speed.

What about if you're bloodlusted? Will that 10% be on top of the boost bloodlust gives?

I think it's just a static buff. If you are in the cloud and some time after you have 10% bonus movement speed.
Going into a new cloud probably just reaplies the same buff instead of stacking.
Kinda like how multiple mangled status effects just change the duration and not stack the penalty of healing

I imagine the speed boost timer will just reset when you enter another cloud, just like how it works with the current slow down gas.

You right, for some reason I imagined the 10% as a constant number lel.
