it means you need to actively impede gen repairs instead of just going for hooks. a way you could do this is try to lead a chase into another gen thats being worked on so when you down a survivor you can kick the gen before picking them up. you can also run perks like "pop goes the weasel" and "Surge"

Is... is this meant to imply that it is a common thing to 4K a Survivor team in 4 minutes or less, and that the only cause for such a phenomenon is the absence of Decisive Strike?

If they stay on the gen in your face just rush them, at worst you injure them and then chase them, at best you get a grab and hook.
If they are smart enough to wait for you to get away before they jump on the gen, you unfortunately need to finish the chase quick, or come back to the gen. If you get a down in the chase try and head towards a hook near the gen so you get back there quicker, then you can use PGTW on the gen or use Ruin to regress it when you chase them off.

i think there needs to be a subforum for people that actually have at least achieved rank 1 on both sides.
96% of the dbd community didnt even reach rank 1 as a killer once in their entire time, but are experts in balancing the game. And they also like to throw terms like "tunneling", "camping" "gen pressure" around way too quickly.
I actually think a forum like this would be way more objectiv and fari about the game, and discussions would be actually lead to something.

Basically this.
If a game lasts 4 minutes because the Killer killed everyone, the Survivors were just bad.
If the game lasts 4 minutes because the Killer was bad, it is the games fault.

Look as much as I think your post is lets say you know what nevermind. I actually agree with you though it's why I run tinkerer or discordance which ever I have on the killer I'm using because it's VERY EASY to get caught up in a chase and forget how much time has passed and these two perks are a great way for killers like myself to use as a sort of alarm clock lets say and have that (OH #########) been chasing to long or multiple survivors are on a gen time to interrupt/apply pressure elsewhere. Also I never kick gens because I end up getting the down then can't PGTW the damn thing.

If one runs away from the gen and one stays on it, go for the one that stays on it. Hit them and chase the other, land a hit if you can, then go back to the gen. The other survivor will either be healing or a free down.
If they both stay on the gen just hit both of them until they get off the gen (the easy way or the hard way)
If they both run at the same time, chase one and return to the gen.
If this sounds complicated, don't worry. It's a lot more simple in practice. Also keep in mind that it's probably best to slug in these situations.

Ah, Depip Squad, yeah, data from almost 3 years ago is really valid. I forgot that Forum Killers go against people like Marth all the time, sorry for that.

its from mid 2018, and in the current state of the game the outcome is basically the exact same... probably even worse considering that Nurse and Billy got hard nerfed, and ruin works in a way that is favourable for pushing trough gens now.
If i run the same experiment today, nothing has changed regarding the balance.

I think, everyone who has a mild knowledge of game design should ignore the Depip Squad. Same the other way around, if some Killer gets 100 4Ks in a row, this does not mean that this Killer is OP or anything.
So yeah, Depip Squad-comments have to be ignored, maybe then people will stop bringing up this nonsense.
And yes, like I said, almost 3 years.

Whatever you tried to achieve with this post didn't work, I can't even tell if you're being an entitled survivor or a killer acting like they're better at the game than killers who complain and ruin undying nerf (yet you think bamboozle is op, sooo... surely you can't be a killer main)

Your Depip-Squad comment has the same value of someone posting the 50 4K-Streaks of Otz. If (nearly) every Killer can get 50 4Ks in a Row, this means Killer is too strong.
Which is not the case. People who are very skilled at the game (like Otz or Marth) should not be the case for the majority.
Most of the time players who complain heavily are not even good at the game. But this is the case in every Onlinegame.
In general, I dont think that DBD is that imbalanced. It will never be completely balanced, you cannot balance a game which features Killers with such different Power Levels. And I also think that every Killer is viable at Red Ranks for most of the games. Against good Survivors, the number becomes smaller, but for the general Survivors at Red Ranks, you can play any Killer.
