Oh my god, please fix this
I know it's been said again and again and again, but I just want to add my own ranting about this kind of crap to the mix. Look at the matchmaking. *Look at it*. Look at that mess. This ######### needs to be fixed, man, ######### hell.

Can't fix this issue without red rank survivors waiting 30 minutes for a match.
We need more killer players and less swf.

There is not enough red rank killers for red rank survivors.
You can't just have red rank players waiting forever.

What do you mean? That is EXACTLY what MMR looks like when they turned it on last time. Judging by the matches I've seen today, they turned it back on already and just haven't announced it.

Cross-play was supposed to fix this very issue.
EDIT: Also, a lot more high-level players would probably be incentivized to play killer if they weren't forced to pick between the same 2-3 killers in order to have a chance.

Imagine if the game was a bit more balanced and more people felt the urge to play killers. the advantage of SWF is extremely strong and I don't blame people for not playing killers. So many SWF will do anything to keep the killer from getting a single kill, and call them toxic jerks if they manage 1 kill in a game.
If a good MMR means red ranked SWF take 30 minutes+ for a game. That is a good sign to Devs how truly ######### this game truly is.

Why not? Game needs balanced supply v demand of killers. Queue too long? Go play killer. Queue times is pretty much only reason I'm a killer main.

Dude this happens all the time. High ranks get thrown into random matches. Maybe you should take the opportunity and watch their play. You might learn something.

I have a terrible feeling the new MMR isn't going to change a thing. If a group of R1 survivors are waiting long enough, the MM will just toss the first killer available. Fairness be damned.

While I understand the frustration. As Solo Rank 1-2 Survivors, I often get lobbies with low rank Survivos (sometimes as low as 17) that make the match impossible. Then there are killer matches (again, Rank 1-2) where I can quickly tell 1-4 members of the Survivor team are not Red Rank either. Then I find out they were a mix of yellows and greens.
Could be a killer shortage? Maybe. But it seems to break each direction.

Likely the case - it's all I can do, I suppose. Gotta keep queues at a level that isn't frustrating.
