With the new system coming up, I wonder whether it might be more beneficial to play survivor instead of killer if you want to farm shards. Sure, killer will always be the BP farmer, but is the survivor becoming shard-farmer now?
During PTB it seemed like you gain more exp towards next lvl if you did well corresponding to the emblems. Since survivor is way more easy to gain emblems than on killer, I wonder whether there is any adaption or sth?
Feel free to post your impressions/thoughts after the new patch has released, I wont be able to play today sadly =(

It may depend on the killer, but I had made the experience that I would get better emblems in general on killers than on survivors.

Luckily for me, my wife plays solely survivor so she will be my golden shard goose while I can continue my killing ways.

But when you reach the SWF/genrush levels, then suddenly it becomes really hard to do well with the emblem system.
As survivor I never had problems with emblems even in the old emblem system and in the new emblem system it will become even easier for survivor0 -

Up until I want to play and she is running with her SWF group. Then all I can do is watch another episode of Golden Girls.
