DbD on Windows 10?

I've played DbD on my computer through Steam and I'm wondering how the performance is on Windows since as of recent my game has been losing performance since all these new graphical updates have came out. Also if I bought the game from Steam would there be any way for me to transfer my game progression onto the Windows 10 game?

If you're running from Steam or Windows store it's the same thing just a different boot up source. If you're losing performance try updating your graphics drivers and checking your cpu usage first. Could also be too little RAM or outdated hardware.

There shouldn't be any difference in performance from Windows Store to Steam (please note, no cross progression is not possible between these platforms though). I would double check your PC settings to see why you are getting performance issues.

I can't answer about performance on the Windows Store copy of the game, but I'd assume it's the same as the Steam version. Unless you mean moving OS to Windows 10, in which case I'd recommend it; it's been amazing for me.

As for the cross-progression, no. You cannot yet transfer data to the Windows Store version of DBD from any platform. You can only transfer progress to Windows Store provided you use the same account that you play with on xBox.

Don't buy yhe Windows Store version if you have Steam.

There's no difference in performance between Win7 and Win10. Performance is more so based on your hardware than the OS.
