whats with the que times? 10+ minutes???
9 minutes and up to find a lobby on survivor? What was the point of dedicated servers and adjustments this and that to ranked matchmaking, ( and CROSS PLAY) if its still same. Disappointing..or rather a reason is because nobody wants to play killer cuz this games survivor sided asf

Just the way it do done be my man.
For me, most of the day, survivor queues are 3-5 minutes and Killer 30s-1 minute. At night, survivor queues because 5-10 minute, and killer 10-30 seconds.
If I'm in a SWF, it becomes 3x worse.

The queue seems fine during the day. All the kiddies get scurred and don’t want to play after dark. Or mum and dad figured out the parental controls on the WiFi and set a time the WiFi is blocked. The night queue stinks.

Looks like there is not enough killers without bad killers who relied on moris. Or we are just swarmed with PS5 survivors.

I'm currently in a lobby as killer, have been for the past 30 minutes or so with survivors constantly leaving and joining, it took around 10 minutes to find this lobby in the first place. Something really feels off with the queue times today.

I’ve mostly dropped out of killer too. It was getting to me. They just feel so useless. Completely at the mercy of survivors. Thats not a “woe is me” post but its known that survivors have control in chase and their perks often have no counterplay. Add in all the bad map design thats making a return and all the bugs and latency issues and it just makes killer a frustrating experience. I try and I always regret it. Even if I win I dont have fun and resort to just camping because I cba. Case in point going against god pallet after god pallet after god pallet as m1 killer....like whats the point? Its dull and I might as wel be a bot. Or playing plague and puking on a survivor only for it not to count, going for a grab only for the game to decide “nope”, bad maps like midwich or hawkins, complete lack of sounds and footsteps on survivors in some cases, trappers traps that dont work, nurse getting stuck on dead zones. Then you got all the nerfs on top anytime theres anything even remotely good on the killer side. Killer is just not a fun experience. The game is only fun in swf now.
pyramid and spirit are the only fun killers and they’re getting nerfed to the point they wont be fun anymore. Pyramid already feels clunky after they gutted him.

Yep, I was playing killer last night and I ended up against a group of poor rank twenty survivors againt my rank four butt. And they waited for that game for quite some time I would guess. It just shows they shove whatever survivors they have into whatever few killers are available at the time because so few people want to play killer because they keep getting gutted. Maps keep getting reworked in favors of survivor. DS+Unbreakable still a problem while Undying gets gutted. Thier bias is showing, thier lack of understanding of the game is showing, and the fact they only work when they want is showing. Its getting ######### awful.

I have theories as to why.
- Cross play. I've heard enough people complain about it to know that Console optomization is pretty terrible and that it hurts Killers way more than Survivors. So... when Cross Play happened a whole lot more Survivors joined the pool and not that many Killers.
- The 5 free Killers are not new Survivor friendly. Trapper and Wraith are very add on dependent. Huntress and Billy are somewhat difficult. Nurse is crazy difficult. DbD seriously needs to have Legion join the ranks of free Killers.
- Both the base set of Killer perks and the BP only Killer perks are... not great. There's some decent ones here and there but... they're not amazing and there's very few Meta perks in either of those sets. Now, compare that to what Survivors have. Vault Build is meta adjacent and the core of it are 2 basic Survivor perks. They can get nearly a meta build by just maxing Bill and Meg.
#1 means we got a deluge of "new" survivors, and 2 and 3 go a long way to making people who try Killer give up pretty quickly.

Don't worry, the new MMR system will fix everything! Now the precious survivors will get to go against a Killer with 10 minutes of game time. Dev's see queue times have gone down. Everyone wins!

Its the bloodrush now, so time to flood the killer queue! Move over killers, survivors need to make that sweet ass 45k BPs! Little do they know it's almost easier to make more BPs on survivor, and with less work...! Well... maybe. Some survivors can do it. You even earn bloodpoints for dropping pallets and hopping over walls. I wonder when they will add BPs for turning your camera different directions.

Killers just want an EZ 4K every game. Playing killer is the easiest it's ever been. I main Legion and Pig at rank 1 and I usually get 3-4 kills. The only problem is a SWF team that really knows how to play well. Those aren't all that common though.

I'm saying I don't have much of a problem when I play killer. Most killers seem to want super easy games. The game is pretty balanced at the moment.

Sprint burst, Borrowed time, Adrenaline, Unbreakable vs Enduring, Tinkerer, Nurse's calling and Thana/Brutal strength. Seems fair

It's because he's a liar. He could always stream himself playing 10 games on Legion and 10 on Pig to see him get a average of 3.5 kills a game but we both know he won't

With the influx of survivor mains from cross-play, and with the current state of killer, this is what you get. Average DBD players don't want to deal with all the survivor's second chances and so on. So people quit, or just play survivor. I know several people that have gave up killer and just play survivor now.

Being able to get 3/4 kills with legion or pig isn't the same as averaging 3/4 kills a game as legion or pig. I shouldn't have to type this out for you.

Most of my games end with 3 or 4 kills. I do have games where I do bad but it's mostly due to me making mistakes. Lets just keep pretending killer is sooo hard though.

I'm not taking the time to find out how to stream and doing all that work to prove to some stranger that I can get 3 to 4 kills with Legion and Pig, lol. I do not care if you don't believe what I'm saying.

Enduring and Brutal Strength are both good, but they are not meta. They're probably on a similar level as We'll Make it, Spine Chill, and Botany Knowledge. Good but not the best.
Tinkerer is meta but more because of its synergy with Ruin/Undying than by its own Merits.
Nurses and Thana are also not meta and Thana in particular is not great outside of a few killers/playstyles.
Seriously... the Killer meta is BBQ, Ruin, Undying, Tinkerer. That's on 1 paid Killer, 2 different shard Killers, and 1 free Killer. Prior to that, the meta was BBQ, Corrupt, Pop, and then whatever. That's 1 paid, 2 different shard, and one unknown.
Over on the Survivor side, the Meta has been DH/SB, DS, UB, BT/Adren since I've started the game. The only one of those 4 perks not on a free Survivor is DS.
Like... you're just wrong. It is way way easier to get the meta perks on Survivor than on Killer.

When I was playing last night with my brother (from 5pm EST - 9PM EST, ps4 crossplay off) we were getting lobbies pretty much instantly for most of the time. Few matches before we stopped was when matchmaking started to slow down to about a 2 minute wait at most.

Have you ever considered the question "Why people aren't playing Killer?" The question also extends to yourself; as you could easily switch to playing Killer and get 20 sec queue time.

I have 50-100h on killer and am facing players that have either even less or way too much over me. Think it is fun or fair or that I am skipping the 1.5x BP even completely because every lobby is 2k+ hours survivors? Sorry that the game is so terribly balanced that I get either new players or veterans and can't progress anywhere so there is no point in playing.

I feel this SO much. I played Plague for a few hours the other night, and the minute they realized I wasn't a baby killer, I was getting two and three DCs. I'm only a rank 5 on a good day, and these were ranks 9 - 4 DCing. I was very confused.

This happens as well just because you are plague. Survivors hate some killers so much they just get themselves killed to queue again. Don't know if they keep doing it with the current queue times but back when Doctor came out the DC rate was huge because he was annoying. Same with Legion.

Funny thing though, i keep stats of my games, and since the mori nerf my survival rate is over 80% in red ranks.
After rank reset you get some potatoes again, where people avoid gens and stuff, but once i hit red ranks again, i barly lose.
But to be fair, the kill rate % for each (0-4 kills) in my personal games are each very close together, and all around 20%(+/- 2%)
