Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Is Afterpiece Antidote worth using?

I've been giving the Clown rework a good run on the PTB and I've been running into an interesting problem.

As a long time Clown main I've been finding that there are very few situations where I feel like Afterpiece Antidote is worth using and I usual only stick with Afterpiece Tonic. It may just be me stuck in my ways since I've been maining Clown for a long while, but is anyone else realizing this at all?

It's only a 10% buff numbers wise, I'm sure BHVR could stand to bump it up to 15% to make it feel more potent.

I haven't even played the PTB ( ps4 player ) and I can see he needs a couple more changes.

I haven't played the PTB. But through gameplay, they don't look that useful to me.

well not in terms of chasing survivors... more like some tool to replace agitation when picking somebody up, maybe in few scenarios where you quickly need to go to a gen...

but overall its useless i guess.

The issue comes in with you having to waste the time throwing the bottle, and then waiting for the cooldown before pickup which makes the speedboost save little to no time.

Traversing the map with it is meh as well because the full duration equates to roughly 2 extra meters. Its something, but not much and you will simply lose that time reloading more often.

+ it helps survivors aswell which speaks for itself.

bhvr is just to scared of their entitled survivor community.

  • It's fairly useful. I don't think it's going to be enough, but we'll see.

I don't plan on using it.

I say yes. I don't know if it'll be enough for him, but it's definitely useful. Get a speed bottle and a slow bottle going, and that distance closes quickly.
