Hillbilly hell
Man Hillbilly has to be the most annoying killer to play. I have cakes leftover from the anniversary so im only playing him because of the bloodhunt combined with the cake. But wow I actually hate playing this killer so much. I feel a lot of his addons are not great. I hate his chainsaw. I went for a crossmap chainsaw because I had bbq and I get to a person just standing still and I BOUNCE OFF THEM and go right past them, not getting the hit. I also find myself trapping survivors in corners and somehow still missing the chainsaw, it will just bounce of something for some reason. Easily my least favorite killer to play.

billy and nurse, both got ruined for no reason. nurse was the swf counter, and billy the overall favorite of the killer players.
billy today is overrated becauseof his past. but you dont see him very often anymore.

The problem is that curving is not as viable as before. So the skill ceiling of billy got smaller.
But im not 100% sure, bc i was and am bad at curving.
But bc you are new to him the only thing that changed for you is the removal of the instasaw.

I barely learned how to curve on him and I’m so happy I didn’t. I will play him sometimes because I like his chase music but his saw is not very effective at loops anymore; making him pretty weak.
Blight is the new king of mobility. Bubba is the new king of 1 shots.

I kinda miss old Billy. This one is way easier to handle as survivor, but less fun to play. I play Oni mostly, who has a lot more mobility, but the disadvantage of not having access to those power attacks as often.

Yeah for me hillbilly was a killer that I did not care, but one day I met battleguy on twitch he is a main billy and I learned from him how to use it, now for me hill billy and nurse are the funniest killers in the game, my advice to learn to using hillbilly is:
1. First learn to go from one place to another without crashing
2. Only M1 in chases never chainsaw
3. When you have more control to avoid crashing, try to use the chainsaw on survivors that go straight, never on survivors that do loops
4. See battleguy, Ohtofu, umbra, verconn on twitch or whatever guy who play good with billy
5. Patient and practice
After a few days you be able to use the chainsaw on loops.
Hillbilly is a killer who masters himself is quickly, he is not like nurse and you will see that his games are the most satisfactory to win than others killers because it'll be your efforts that why he and nurse are especial for me 😆.
The perk that helped me when I learned to play with him are: Discordance, Pop Goes the Weasel, bbq, and the fourth one you want, I do not recommend using totems, never noed. (Only when you learn after play like you want)
Good perks to use as four perk are: Franklin, Oppression, Spirit Fury with resistance, Bamboozle, tinkerer, Infectious Fright with knock out, are good, Lightborn if there are multiple f*cking premades flashlights.
Addons: Spiked Boots or Dad's Boots with Tuned Carburettor or Pighouse Gloves or Low Kickback Chains
When you play better with billy I recommend play with the two red addons of undetectable in the nurse or clown map is very funny and satisfactory games.
Although now with the Billy's rework is a little harder to use him and autoheaven is no longer a good map for Billy but new Mcmillan and Crowldwind are good.
I know you didn't ask me how to use it but I'm a passionate Billy's main 😆

His curving is next to non existent because of his new sound cue and the nerft to his insta-saw add-ons. But mostly because of the sound.
